:: INTRODUCTION:
Phoenix Rising has recently come under new management and has opened its doors once again to new recruits.
Phoenix Rising considers itself to be a "true" Corporation. We are not a Clan, or a Guild, we are a Business, and treat our operations in New Eden as such. If you are looking for a dedicated, professional Corp, then I suggest you look no further, because we are here to stay, and hopefully get very rich in the process.
Our Corporate philosiphy is that all Operations should benefit BOTH the Corporation and the Employee. We pay honestly, quickly and fairly for hard work, and we will NEVER exploit our members in the way that so many Corporations do.
On this ethos, we have 0% Tax Rates, and no work will be forced on you. You work, you get paid. Regular workers are entitled to generous Benefits Packages, detailed below.
:: OPERATIONS:
Operating out of a Central Position in New Eden just off the Jita/Amarr Trade Route (With both Amarr and an Ice Belt within easy reach), Phoenix Rising is primarily focussed on a three-tier Industrial set-up:
Mining/Salvaging/Security > Refining/Manufacture > Courier/Sale = Payment & Expansion
We run regular Mining Operations that are well organised and supported by Security members nd Hauler Players, and have no problem with members setting up their own. We are currently only operating in High Security Space, but aim to move into Low Sec once we can afford serious expansion into our Security Elements.
Manufacturers and Traders will find themselves plentifully supplied with Manufacture jobs and large-scale Trade operations for the retail of our products. Couriers will of course be vital in hauling products to their destination of sale.
Security Personnel will have the oppertunity to run Overwatch Operations to protect the Mining Ops, as well as Recon into other systems. Personnel are encouraged to actively run missions and salvage NPCs until the Corp expands into Low Sec Space.

NO SKILL POINT LIMIT! We are a New Corp, and therefore New Player friendly. Please bear in mind that we operate primarily from 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM UTC, though you can find members online at most hours of the day.
Our core members are dedicated, knowledgable players that are more than willing to assist or train any members new to EVE. We may not be able to provide you POS support (currently) but what we can provide is the opportunity to join a Corporation that is going places, and reap the rewards.

Could you tell me why the corp is now under new management especially after only being started up so recently?

This is due to our original CEO/Founder taking a somewhat unexpected leave from the game, without leaving a second-in-command. We were forced to call a CEO replacement vote in order to keep the corporation function, especially when considering the sizeable ISK investments that some members have made. We are back on track though.

Thank you for clearing this up, I briefly spoke with the CEO previously about joining but he had an over inflated opinion of his own self importance so I was put off. Is it likely he/she will remain in the corporation ? I have been looking for a "Serious Business" industrial corporation for some time.

He will be remaining in the corporation, at least for the time being, out of respect for the thought that he's put into it. We still have not had any contact with him since last year however and I don't think that it would be a problem if he should return.
Also, we're still recruiting!
