In before the lolposts about safespots and warfare links.
There are two main schools of thought about Legion pvp:
The HAMBrick and the more traditional SuperZealot. Specific fits I won't get into, but Dissolution subsystem and Powergrid subsystem are your best friends in pvp. Everything else will be swapped out a lot depending on what kind of pvp you are looking for (buffer vs active vs nano tank... etc).
Some people also fly it like a gimpy Curse, but those people generally don't fly it long.
Originally by: CCP Oveur The client handles no logic, it is simply a dumb terminal.

I like to call them UberAshimmu. I wasn't in this fight but hear it was good. Seems corpmates out-isked it. http://vip3r.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=8115635
SuperZealot I believe still has the zealot's flaw of no drones. 100mn AB HAMbrick might be in the next Garmonation |

This is what I use for solo roaming when the mood strikes me. No, not the best fit ever, but it works pretty ok for me, haven't lost it yet though not for lack of trying.
Exile booster is pretty much mandatory for "oh ****" moments. Saved my ass a few times.

My HAM-brick Legion has less HP but dictates range much better while keeping the sig low:
Shadow 100MN afterburner, navy web, navy small cap booster, domi scram. Two navy EANM, one navy thermic hardener, an 1600 RT plate, two domi BCS, fully trimarked.
Subs are the same as the other (MWD o.O?) fit, except the Fuel Catalyst. At all lvl5 you will need an 1% CPU implant It's cheap, count with it. Just a quick note: with high meta modules you can overheat longer.
