[1] All I can say is well done and many thanks from TSSR corp. As for Polaris changing the rules on languages, wake up and smell the roses, this is an international game and for you to turn around and tell these players who are paying the wages of CCP is an insult to these players. Would you like to see these players leave the game? I wouldn't and I'm sure CCP wouldn't. I'd suggest you come back on here and apologise to these players you have insulted with that demand of speaking english only! |

[3] Thank you. In fact I think this is a valid rule, this forum is open to everyone, so everyone must understand each other. I think because of this rule none will end their suscribtions. By the way, let's keep discussion to one topic only. |

[5] I'm sorry if my "Stick to English, please." comment was misinterpreted. I just asked, and I meant it to be polite, that the thread was to be kept in English - because I was interested in what was being said. Polaris is an organization of volonteers working with player support, finding bugs and filtering bug reports, forum moderation, and other tasks. Only a few Polaris members (in the forum mod-squad) have the mandate to change or set rules for the forums, and I'm certainly not one of them. If that was the impression given I apologize. P.S. Congratulations RUS! P.P.S. There is however a rule about sticking to one thread per topic. :-) Edited by: Mandos on 30/06/2003 13:26:19 -- Mandos Polaris Forum Moderator and Bug Hunter EVE Forum rules |

[6] Yes, I'm a bad man, sorry about that, I was a bit distracted at work. You could delete the thread if you don't mind? :) |

[8] I think a rule about keeping it english is perfectly sane. I used to work as game admin for a company, and the rule was simple, only english or danish. The reson behind this was simple. We did not want ppl insulting others, on the forums or ingame, in their own language. This was because we while some staff spoke Danish, English and French, some only spoke Danish and English, while others could speak a language such as Hebrew. Keeping it english allowed us to maintain law and order more easy. ----------- "If it does not fit, use force. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway" |
