EVE Voice Beta does not work. We can download the Vivox firefox addon and get in to change push to talk and audio settings, but there doesn't seem to be a way to actually join a voice channel. That would seem to be a pretty big oversight, missing that particular feature.

If you log into the client and join a channel, does it then start working on EVE Gate? Afaik you only have to log into the client once then everything should be fine.

I was worried this might be the case, as I was hoping to hop on before downloading the 1.2gb patch. So we have to add channels to the list by "activating" them first by joining them in-game? How does this work for fleets? Is it possible to join a fleet's voice channel without being logged in?
