I'm wondering if anyone can give me a clue what size the patch is going to be?
Just so I don't get home today and find i've downloaded it but now cant play eve for the rest of the month...

Approx 1.3GB. Look for an ISP without bandwidth limit.

Someone in the Incarna thread hinted at 1.7 gig.
We¦ll see.
The important part is to not start downloading some preliminary patch.
Read the forum here and wait for the official patch link.

Well that sucks balls. At least I had the forethought to put an 8 day skill training on both my accounts.
I work in the middle of nowhere with a sat connection so patches are normally a nightmare anyway.
Will there be a torrent download that works? Not some embedded thing that resets?

I love EVE, but not enough to pay half my salary in fees at an internet cafe. and this is the 3rd world lolol. we dont have libraries, and our schools are lucky if they have desks, let alone internet.

I will take a geuss and say most of it is probably the new character creator. (rendering decent boobies takes some doing  )

i honestly didn't think there were any countries with ****up ISP's like that.
here IPS's stopped having download limit about 10 years ago.
back then i got raised from 256kbit downl to 768kbit in 9 months. i LOVE price wars between companies =D.
