After I alt tab to the desktop my monitor looks like somebody turned the brightness down to like 2.
I can barely see anything..
Anybody else having this issue?
I have a 4870x2 vid card.

I have the same problem, has been there since the test version 2 months ago. I also have a ATI Radeon HD 4870 Series card.

This should be the same problem that Radeon cards experienced with the game using a different colour palette to what the desktop uses.
Try running the game in Windowed or Fixed Window mode. That should prevent the desktop dimming when quitting. ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

In the mean time you can use Fixed Window Mode, which can mimic Fullscreen, with improved alt-tabbing and no colour palette problems. ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

make sure removed the old drivers first and restart BEFORE you start the install of the new driver. it could still be trying to use the old driver if you haven't. -------------------------------- http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1370931&page=1 ------ |
