Anyone else got any ideas how the heck you are supposed to leave copies of your hard scanned bookmarks for your corp mates in w-space. Problem is You can't put bookmarks in someone elses can. Thanks for that CCP.

Launch a can anchored for corp. Place BMs from hold into can. Problem solved. |

Problem with that is you cannot anchor a can inside your pos shields. You could set one up at a safespot but that opens you up to being scanned down and ganked - especially if you got a lot of bookmarks to copy across. Any other ideas?

Use a small secure container ejected for corp, there should be no problem if it's anchored or not.

Put it right next to the shields next to your warp-in traps.

Edited by: Daneel Trevize on 19/01/2011 12:18:32 For in space, you shift+drag 5 at a time from your P&P to your cargo, then jet the lot, rather than putting back into someone else's can. The only difference is before if someone jetted multiple copies of bms for everyone to get a set, and if not everyone had taken a copy (so the can's still there and not gone), and if someone else needs a new copy now made, you'd have to jet a can of your own rather than use one already floating in space. Else it's business as usual.
For POSs, put a can in a hanger and sort your titles & roles. Take can, update your bms and the can, put can back. Nothing new there, right? |

Problem solved - at least for fellow corp mates. You just have to be five kilometres from your pos to jettison a can for your corp. And I do like the idea of placing the bm can inside your corp hangar - will have to see how the two methods compare. Thanks for the replies peoples.

You can leave a Secure Can floating inside the shield, and just have corpies add and take BMs from there.
The problem has become, that non-corpies can't add back to that Can anymore.
We were using a single Can for the entire alliance, only now the other corps can't add BMs back after taking them. |

We use a communal can left in open depo for BM's and we can still add and take BM's to it as a corp. Wheres the problem?

I think the OP is new to WH life, and didn't know how to leave BMs for corpies.
Answer = Leave a Secure Can floating inside the POS bubble. It won't pop after 30d, despite being unanchored.
My own problem, is having BMs shared amongst non-corp, alliance members. We still have the Can floating, but since the patch it only accepts BMs from the owning corp. |
