"There will not be another Clear Skies" unless a larger team .... and remunerative, cos the the man has to spend time with Claire/Clare.
Could it be that the next one, if properly funded, could be just the machinima title to showcase incarna? |

The biggest value I found in Clear Skies series is that you don't have to know EVE to find it entertaining. And when you get to know EVE Online, it gets awesome.

I couldn't agree more, the story is great, realistic to those who are familiar with the EVE universe, and loosing it, or having it not go forward would be a great loss to us all.
I personally would love to see the story when John returns from the Jovian/WH space, I could envision his interaction with the Jovians and becoming a part of their "balancing" of things in a way that would be similar to Mr. Smith's role, but with John's personal touch...
and I too would be more than willing to donate RL funds to that cause, or ships/equipment, ect in-game as well.

Yes, RL must come first, however, that's an interesting suggestion you have there...
Maybe CCP in it's own right should get into it and help (whomever picks up the torch) get CS 4 off the ground and onto our screens?...

I fully understand where Ian is coming from in deciding not to make a fourth. I have had some formal training in film production and I totally understand what he means when he said it was taking up to much of his life. Think about it, in the third movie he was averaging one minute of video per page of script. I personally have work my butt of for three days to end up with five minutes of footage for a documentary I made and that does not include the editing. film making is a soul destroying job that will suck the life out of you. But I have to say his is one of the best.
I made the mistake of watching the movies again recently and now I am returning to eve after leaving "forever" back in 08'
This is NOT an NPC corp forum alt, this is my main. I will join a corp in a few months after I have more skill points. |
