I feel bad because you got the response you did. I'll give you a completely honest opinion.
He looks young, though that was probably the look you were going for. The structure of the face is solid, but he looks too plain to stand out properly. The background you selected doesn't help. I would have worked with the lighting more, as well as the pose of the character to bring some individuality to it.
