Originally by: Andreus Ixiris Um, yes? When I did regular work for the Federation Navy, there were weekly attacks by Sansha slaves on civilian shipping so common you could actually set your watch by it. The prisoners they took - those that survived, that is - were universally poorly-treated.
No, your agent told you that. You never saw them blowing up civilian shipping. You never saw them taking 'prisoners'. You without much thought engaged weapons and fired.
Originally by: Andreus Ixiris They really aren't.
This was vis-a-vis faux distress signals. For hours, these becons sit there, beconing. I don't care how tough your 'orca under attack' is. It is not going to survive until the 'rescue' gets together. It is all a sham perpetuated by CONCORD, the Navies, and the megacorporations.

Originally by: Zedrik Cayne I believe, and have some corroborating evidence, that Nation is trying to overthrow the empires to bring to the forefront their civilization.
Which makes Nation no better than any of them.
No better, nor any worse. Just different. --

Yet when a rescue team arrives at the source of these 'sham' distress calls - there the Sansha are, and the first thing they do is shoot. No attempt at communication whatsoever. If the distress calls are a 'sham', surely the sham must be carried out by Nation in an attempt to lure and trap concerned capsuleers.
This is, of course, not even considering the civilians we physically rescue from the sites...

Again. You are not thinking. You are 'rescuing' folks. As told by the rescue team powered by, you guessed it..CONCORD. I don't yet know what Nation is doing at those sites. But I doubt they are inviting folks over to kill them intentionally.
Put yourself in the shoes of rational people. Think about what you are doing. And think about what I am saying. The pieces fall together too well for it not to be at the very least looked at. If not straight up believed. --

CONCORD contracts pay my bills. Sansha ships blowing up pay my bills. Personnaly, I don't think they're any better or worst then the Guristas, Archangels or Raiders. Except for the fact most of my former corpmates disappeared in strange circumstances during the Yulai incidents.
Until I hear from my mates, you guys are at the top of my hitlist.

Nation ships frequently fired upon my unarmed industrial in Stain. While I was working for them, no less. Not only are they unrepentant aggressors against unarmed civilians, they also have no sense of professional business etiquette.

I've found a volley of morphite-enriched graviton missiles work just as well. ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor
