I didn't say mine were fantastic, and I am thinking of changing it. That's just what I've come up with so far. And I did actually say the avatar I quoted looked really good. I wasn't criticizing it all!
All I know is that a lot of people tend to make their female avatars look like trashy hookers. Whereas I've noticed women players usually go for a more simple and classy look (or they try and reflect themselves in the portrait).
Also, LOL @ you thinking you're some kind of authority on how to make good avatars, when a most of it actually comes down to personal preference.

As a guy who has a mixture of toons, I was sad about the lack of tramp customization for the female toons. The coat w/ no shirt was basically the only option which everyone was doing.
My gf also walked by and was very offended that I was essentially making her but "with a cooler hairdo and a ****ty outfit". She made me change the outfit :(
