I know CCP have been busy trying to fix a patch  but I've been waiting for over 24 hours now for any sort of response on my 2 petitions!!!
Does anyone know what the average waiting time is? Is it worth adding a note to a petition to try and speed things up. 24 hours is a joke!!!

Issue 1 is the character creator starts to load then freezes at 100%. Tried setting graphics to low quality but the problem still exists.
Issue 2 is since the patch I can't see my mining laser beams or hear their sound or hear weapon fire. All other sounds seem to be ok.
Tried repair & re installing the client & that didn't fix it.

then in that case id file a bug report, not a petition
or if you filed one under the technical support ones did u at least provide ur dxdiag info like they asked?
regardless i expect those kinds to be of a lesser priority atm
For issue (1) i suggest checking around the the tech support forum as you case seems to happen to 25% of ppl (that say anything about it)

When they reply, asking for further information to help them identify the problem, you know what to do. Sit on it for a week. Make them wait, see how they like it....

I filed then both under tech support. I didn't attach a dx thingy as I don't know what that is or how to do it.

So long as you can actually play the game as is, just be patient. You aren't the precious little snowflake you seem to think you are. Other people have problems too, and there's only so many hours in the day CCP can spend fixing things.

well see? thats vital info right there ESPECIALLY for graphical issues
here is all you need to know to give them in the info they might possibly need
(which btw is linked in the "submit bug report" page)

with anything that isnt top priority expect 2-3 days and the lowest ones over a week
top priority ones are the only ones that get an answer in under 24hrs
