On the splash screen I get this error:
CCP ExeFile has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
With an accompanying bug report. Who do I send this to if anyone at all to help me get EVE running?
I've updated my graphics and sound drivers, and I've restarted my machine numerous times. I'm currently in the process of redownloading the full client but I run a slow internet connection so it will take a while. Anyone else with similar issues, esp using windows xp? Would updating to Vista help at all?

Not a solution, but some advice. If you're going to upgrade your OS, bypass Vista to Windows 7.

Could be a missing DLL. Have you tried profiling eve using Dependency Walker? Any messages in red or anything that says first-chance or second-chance exception would be interesting to know about
