Hello eveonline.com forum users,
If this is against the forum rules or in some other fashion in conflict with CCP regulations then I apologize, let me know and I'll remove the post again. If I have posted in the wrong forum, then the same applies.
In an effort to help organize the player activities in the NCP corp 'Aliastra' we have now put up corporate forums. Therefore I am annoucing this contest for a forum banner and signature. These are the rules of the contest:
1: Banner is to be 1000x150 pixels and must contain the Aliastra corporate logo.
2: Signature is to be maximum 400x120 pixels and maximum of 24000 bytes and must contain the Aliastra corporate logo.
3: Entries are to be submitted both in JPG format and in original layered (unflattened) image file.
4: Prize for best Banner is 250M isk.
5: Prize for best Signature is 100M isk.
6: Contest ends on friday, february 4th, 2011 at 12:00 EVE time.
The banner will be going up on this forum, so the better it fits with that design, the better the chance to win the contest

I will be attempting this challenge, but I imagine that better designers will come along and crush me =P
I want to say that what your doing is a great idea, many times I have been in the NPC corps and aside from general talking there is nothing going on. For some reason they wont trust a fellow corp mate when I ask if they're interested in a low sec roam =)

I'm contemplating entering this contest...however I believe the filesize on the forum signature is a little too restrictive (23.4KB)...as you have control of the forums you have the ability to change it...will signatures that are above the filesize limit still be considered if appealing? |

The reason the file size restriction on the signature is 24000 bytes is that that's the restriction on these forums for signatures, so our members could use them here as well. But if you make a really awesome sig and it gets to be 25000 or 28000, submit it anyway, we'll have a look at it :)

A bit blank around the sides, but i am sure when you upload, it will look good. |

The signature is meant to be transparent on the upper half, the area around the upper "A" and "Foxgguy2001".
The banner may require a CSS change to remove the border around the right, left and upper parts of that cell. If need be I can assist with that.
Original files will be provided upon selection.
