I bought one of these for a play around and..they are useless. What on earth can you do with them??
They hold 200m3 so acting as a buffer between a reaction and another reactor they would back up in one hour..meaning you'd have to offline it and take out surplus every 2 hours max.
I assumed they were like a small silo (given one thread on here made out they had a capacity of 1k). But they don't, aaargh!
Please throw an old man a frickin bone, cos lm surely missing the point of these horrible things.

The coupling arrays are used in between a silo and reactor or reactor and silo.
Example 1
You dont moon mine but you buy the minerals and then put them through a reactor. To make sure you dont have to offline the reactor everytime you want to fill/empty the silo you place a coupling arry in between them so that you dont have to start the whole process again.
Example 2
You are moon mining so you would place a coupling array in between the reactor and the silo so that you can offline the silo and empty it (otherwise the whole process has to be started from scratch).

I'd just like to add to this another example of their use. The moon miners are mining the two components of a simple reaction, you put two coupling arrays that are set to receive from the moon miners and give to the reactors, thus mining directly into reaction.

Artic, I'm doing that without using coupling arrays to feed the reactor, you don't need them there.

becuase we have a amarr pos we link 3 silos to gether to make thats holds 300m3 and if we had our bonus it would be 450 would allows us to harvest onr more material while we do a basic or advanced reactions
