Edited by: Lodarus on 23/01/2005 23:56:11 These guys welcomed pvp they said then when we declare war all they do is hide and block us from channels. if they say they are a merc corp I woould say no one should hire them as they refuse to fight.

dont forget that in the tv series the A-Team never actually KILLED anyone.

Funny ... when I made the Merc thread above and mentioned the A-Team (and Hammer's Slammers), I didn't realise there was an actual corp by that name. It just seemed like an obvious choice for a 'trouble shooters' kind of merc force.
Not sure how the original show would equate to a corp in Eve though. You -have- to shoot people. Maybe if they had a no-podding policy in their contract clauses? Or ... worked for their client for free (The TV characters always seemed to get the short end of the stick, financially)? Or had, in utterly bad taste, modelled all their avatars and names after the characters of the show.
Regardless, know little about the corp, and they haven't registered, so they might not be looking to be identified as mercs ...

did you bring 2x as many ships as they had?
I don't know the corp you're talking about, but I see a very common occurence within carebear corps (not saying yours is). That is for corps to bring 2x or 3x odds to a fight and then complain (publicly) about why the 'pvp' corp won't engage them.
Before the bashing continues about these guys, is that the case here? ______________________________________________ "Every battle is won or lost before it is ever fought." -Sun Tsu |

Nope, I was the only one at the station and they had three of them in system. I sat outside the station four hours catching up on some forum reading and tv watching.
