You are not peaceloving or neutral. You chose to side with xetic, by calling them allies you have muddied yourself with their filth. Lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas. Live with it.

We offered you this, but you threw it back in our face. You will get no respect from us now. We will do to you- exactly what we did to NORAD. We'll just do our best to make it sting a bit more. We will no longer grant freedom to leave with safe passage. Undock = die. NORAD was just business, we were helping our friends. In your case, we're going to make sure we enjoy doing it. Todays fighting was avoidable. We gave you a choice. (see the chat transcript) Not an ultimatum- a choice- a reasonable and "no loss of face" way out- and you have chosen to ignore it. Do not pull the "victim" card now, it just doesnt fly.
You previously claimed 0.0 space- space that ANYONE is entitled to. We are now claiming the space- your time is over. If SE or BOB pulled the "But this is OUR space- please leave! pretty please!" they'd be a laughing stock- why should you be any different?
You dont have to like the fact we have found a new home in something that was once yours. Dont leave. Just die.

If there is any truth to the accusations, I'm sure our leaders will look into it (I'm not playing EVE at the moment, being away in graduate school - only following the action on the forums).
However, I don't think I've seen any post by you on our forums complaining about people convoing others. I remember one post where somebody complained that they were being accused of hacking by a JQA member (which I agree wasn't called for), and I also remember posts like this (which I thought was funny - please don't see this as a flame).
Even if it is true, I just don't judge the entire alliance by a few bad apples. ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

Isn't it now possible to manually configure the convo charge?
Set it high enough, and make some ISK off your enemy's lame tactics... might turn out will cost them more than losing few ships.
(make isk as in, make them cost some isk. too late to write coherently, my bad *..*
the isk went to ccp not you and they fixed that "sploit" last patch
Did they? i no sumone who still has 1337 as the convo charge __

This should be brought to attention. It didn't happen during the battle? That's an important piece of information.
Isn't it possible that those "spammings" were simply accidental convos of hoplessly lagged out pilots trying to target something?
The names behind those convos are people I trust not to cheat. I would look for other reasons behind this.
A fair amout of the convo/gang invites spam happened after the battle when our pilots were trying to log in after the node crash/being moved by GM. Now the screenshot is only one particular person and incident but it happened to many of my corp mates who have no reason to lie, in vv-v and m2-.
JQA/3rd front pilots reasoning? Well seeing as when some people logged in they were being auto warped to gates and stations which maybe camped I guess the offending pilots believed it would make it harder for the pilot to select navigation points to warp out, bugs the client so they cant dock/jump.
The above text is my own views which may not represent my corps views.

JQA, Scum.
How can leadership see EVIDENCE of 3 convoes and then claim the pilots 'misclicked'? THREE PILOTS DO NOT MISCLICK THE SAME PERSON.
I had my ship replaced when some SE players did this to me to prevent me jumping. They were cautioned and their CEO's IMEDIATELY INVESTIGATED the issue and warned those responsible once I asked them to, as well as offering me compensation (which was not needed).
This Weaseling response from JQA just goes to show quite how inferior they are as an alliance and as players.

And don^t forget the sound bug...
I don¦t know how many are experiencing this but whenever I go to the ESC menu my volume turns to MAX with no workaround (effectively screwing up TS/game coms). And no I won¦t play a game in the year 2005 without sound
That way it¦s damn irritating to have autoreject off to be getting gang invites and go to put it on, only to have the sound screwed up

Edited by: Aegis Osiris on 24/01/2005 09:22:02 Edited by: Aegis Osiris on 24/01/2005 09:21:18 There are a few points that need to be brought up here.
Point 1: The screenshot that you are using as incriminating evidence against JQA pilots is NOT from any battle in VV-VCR. Not from today or any day, as the system is clearly named Y9G. This screenshot proves nothing. For all anyone but those involved know, those 3 were trying to talk to someone after a fight in that system on another day, or just in local in Y9G.
Point 2: Notice, local chat has been blacked out. Why? What could possible be being said in local that would be of any importance? Certainly nothing of any value for intel.
Point 3: What is the name of the pilot that those convo's were sent to? And on what day were they sent?
Frankly, this picture, the only evidence presented to the community at large, has nearly nothing to do with the accusations leveed. If this screenshot could be posted on the same day of the battle in VV that the complaints are about, surely a screenshot taken in VV could as well? Please present valid evidence. I'm not calling anyone a liar, but this screenshot is not, upon examination, credible evidence, and can be seen in a suspicious light.
On a final note: as a member of JQA's navy, I have access to the secure forum areas where commanders discuss any plans/tactics etc. I've had access to that area for a LONG time, most of the last year.
NEVER have the commanders in JQA discussed using ANY tactics for the specific purpose of causing lag to kill an enemy. Yes, we've talked about the problems with using drones, but only that the problem exists, not as a plan to be employed.
I have NEVER lied to any in game, either friend or enemy. I stake my honor on the fact that using chat convo's as a combat tactic has NEVER been discussed by or used by JQA forces in my presence or to my knowledge. I have never seen anyone write about it, either on our forums or ingame in chat, nor heard anyone discuss it on TS.
As to the varied threats layed down by members of Supremecy regarding this...*shrug* threaten away. The truth is that JQA never expected any form of quarter to be given by you, even when you were giving respect to us on these boards. You stated before this that you intend to take our space, and the offer of 'peaceful coexistance' that was made, while discussed, was likely to end up rejected anyway. Therefore, these 'new' threats don't really change anything ingame. Everything else is spin.

please read my post, turn off invites, problem goes away. your respect is neither desired nor required my good man. you are the Invading Huns that are bothering a peaceful alliance. I don\'t think the JQA will lose sleep over your loss of respect. by the way, howĘs working with Clan Killers and Armored Assassin working out for your respectability?
In summary TURN ON AUTO REJECTąunless you want to try and use petitions against the JQA?
Get a grip! This is just a game. The fact that you talk about respect while your own members commit exploits to ruin someone else\'s gameexperience makes me wonder what you were thinking when writing that.
What this game is about is fighting for most of us SUPRM, that you might not like that or have issue\'s with that is your problem. We as SUPRM should NEVER be harassed (yes sending people various conv\'s is HARASSMENT), by EXPLOITING game mechanisms in such a way that we cannot use normal game components. Chat is used for people to talk to each other, its totally rediculous when we cannot be reached by friends ingame because JQA abuses this.
The fact that members of your alliance go this low and you defending it makes 1 thing clear: Those people you despise so much are 100 times better than the likes of you. __________________________

I spoke to Tholarim before this battle and they were prepared to give you peace on terms you could accept. If we had recieved a response like this, we would do exactly what Supremecy have done.
So What if they havnt discussed this tactic on the forums? THEY STILL USED IT and should be punished by their CEOs accordingly! SO WHAT if it wasnt in the main battle, in fact that simply makes it even less likely that they did it by accident: The pilot autowarped to a gate due to being moved, and the Campers all convo him to buy the frigs time to get the scramble. Its more than cheap, its an exploit. I would kick members of my corp for using it.

As an unbiased member of the community at large...
I would have to agree with you, this is not evidence of anything.
Id be wondering why local was blacked out... perhaps this pilot who feels the need to hide his identity, said something in local which attracted 3 people to message him at the time.

My statement to all of this: 1.) I got convoed a various time by different people while engaging on different occassions by many parties (including JQA, CA, FA, SE,...) while being in different corps/alliances. Some pilots might do this on purpose, some might not. Honestly it is no reason to **** with it all day long. Just hit cancel or turn on autoreject.
2.) SUPRM has reasons why it wants to take over JQA Space. Probably the same reasons and others why JQA is trying to keep it. From past events we can see that SUPRM plus allys have enough firepower and will to conquer it and that JQA can not beat us hard enough to make us stop. In fact the more they bring, they more fun we have (in the end we are a pure PvP corp and so are our allys).
3.) SUPRM offered JQA to stay within their space under our ownership. Nothing would change for them except that SUPRM would officially claim it. Well, if there is sth else I did not get, excuse me being a simple drone...
4.) The only way JQA can be beaten is that they get bored and sick of being camped and shot down on a daily basis. Unfortunatly that is exactly what SUPRM enjoy on a daily basis...plus my past experience from CFS/StA shows me that this is easily happening if you loose major fights or plenty of isk in short periods of time.
Summary: This campaign is the second one I had fun with. Unfortunatly I was only involved in 1 large fleet battle and being ganked in an HAC while moving solo (**** newb I am!). I can just hope that JQA keeps assembling big blobs that we can enjoy many fleet fights. Keep flaming on lowest level and stop ******* on forums. It is quiet lame that both parties that were REALLY keeping the flames down (ingame/outgame) are now starting to **** around like everyone else.

In JQA's defence, the right-click context menu, especially when used on the Overview, can be very clunky and fiddly and mistakes can happen.
I wish we could modify the right-click menu's to show things we need only. You could even have a battle setup that includes things like "Approach", "Orbit>" etc etc.

As for the new Overview, NOW it's easier to accidentally convo than before, WHEN you were pretty damn hard-working using it...

I accidentally convo people all the time, because whenever I enter a system I tend to check who's on local, and:
1. "Show Info" and "Start Conversation" are the first two options, and sometimes (bug?), there IS no "Show Info" option at all, so when you quickly choose the first option you accidentally convo them.
2. It's possible to set the charge to 0 isk, so that there is no question box. Many people do so.
Lagging people with convos or gang invites on purpose is lame though.

JQA, that's so pathetic. How can you even compare in-game alliances etc to exploits such as the one you're using. Your opponents are playing within the limits of the game, whereas you're trying to gain an advantage over them by exploting the game mechanics.
The one who's lost all respect here is you, that's for granted.

Might have been answered already but just to add; its not a 100% sure that you will have to pay, I have started convos with and without the charge in very random patterns. Most of the times when I DONT have to pay is during/after battles... I say its a bit bugged?
Again, using the dropdown menu during battle/in laggy environments causes this to happen. That I'm 100% sure of though.
EDIT: Ah, yes the 0 isk setting, that can explain some. And again, before battle, turn on Auto-reject. As easy as 1, 2, 3.

the jqa vs ex ca battles were going very well despite lagg and so forth, and it was similar to the ca vs sa battles where there was a lot of mutual respecxt, however with people being very veyr ****ed off at the ccp incompitance of the node that died for over 8hrs and the fact jqa piliots and one of their commanders were found to be using an exploit has pretty much shattered the friendly relations
a very stupid move on jqa's part, as it closes all doors for the future by making people bitter and hateful which will then only end in the extermination of either side, my moneys on suprm 4 teh win __________________________________________________
