Introduction
Gryphon is primarily a meritocracy, and we give rewards and responsibilities based upon that. We also believe in democracy, and utilize it as Eve allows. Not everyone can be involved in major decisions, but we believe everyone has the right to voice their opinions to the leadership. Each corporation retains its individual sovereignty (the right to manage its own affairs) within Gryphon.
Currently, we are looking for like-minded corporations who can help us achieve our goals. Since Gryphon is new, there is plenty of room for advancement and leadership opportunities for individuals and corporations who wish to do so. If you think you have the spark of leadership, definitely contact us.
Most alliances only recruit larger corporations, but just because a corporation has a lot of members does not mean their corporation is sound. Because of this, Gryphon seeks any corporation that has dedicated leadership, sound plans, and a solid core.

Mission
Gryphon exists with the specific goal of acquiring sovereign space, holding it, and then expanding it. We believe with this goal, we have the opportunity to grow and foster the core of our alliance, and build strong relationships with the corporations and citizens that join us on this journey. Additionally, by achieving this goal and the smaller ones along the way, we can create a system where all who fly beneath Gryphon's banner are able to achieve their own goals and enrich their existence in Eve.
Focus
Gryphon's focus is always on those who fly with us. We believe that each corporation and each citizen within our alliance help to make us what we are. By creating systems that allow them to reach their own potential and grow in their Eve existence, the alliance itself will flourish. While everyone in Gryphon cannot be involved in every decision that takes place, each voice is important. Gryphon is an alliance of individuals and corporations, not a shallow vision of a few or of a single despot.
Leadership
Gryphon operates on a system of meritocracy, wherein those who distinguish themselves are awarded with leadership and responsibilities. Gryphon values strong and definitive leaders, and we believe that leaders are special and rare. Leaders within Gryphon lead by example, and inspire those who fly with them towards something beyond themselves, and to leave something for those who come after them.
Structure
Gryphon's governing and organization structure is different, and utilizes democratic principles. Leaders are chosen by a group from all the corporations, and are given power in a specific area. The power granted to these leaders is divided between the military, civilian policy administration, and the judiciary. Gryphon utilizes separation of powers to prevent totalitarianism and ensure a fair and orderly progress of governance. The most important aspect of this structure is that the citizens can choose their leaders.

According to your post you believe in democracy yet according to your founding document the Lord High Chancellor is exempt from impeachment, where the other High Up's are not, why is this?
I presume this means your alliance leader will remain alliance leader, even if he or she is crap at it ?
That doesn't sound very democratic to me, but I would still like to discuss with you your future plans.

The Lord High Chancellor is the chief source of power, who is susceptible to impeachment, just as is the Lord High Marshal. However, being that Lord High Chamberlain is for the majority a judicial figure with no executive or legislative power, he is exempt. Similar to how Justices in the United States have lifetime appointments. The Lord High Chamberlain simply pushes buttons within the Executor Corporation, he or she cannot create, amend, or prevent a policy from occurring. Ideally, the person occupying this office would be a person of some high significance within the alliance, someone who has a vested interest in its success, and to provide the alliance (and its assets) with an additional layer of security (to prevent it from being steered contrary to the popular will, or thievery).
Additionally however, the Executor Corporation is fixed, and therefore the person who is elected Lord High Chancellor (the one who creates policy) may not choose to reside within the Executor Corporation, and in this capacity, the Lord High Chamberlain acts as an executive assistant, instituting the policies which he has created.

Well as I said, the system isn't final, and things might get changed. If the alliance as a whole decides they want this aspect changed, then so be it.

How much time have you spent in 0.0?
How much time have the people in this alliance spent in 0.0?
How many of them have lived in 0.0 and dealt with sov wars?
Why did I have to read your site to gain information on this alliance?
