People try to do it through some wacky market stuff, but to do it through the market you have to have a basic understanding of how buy and sell orders work.
Easiest way is to buy something and trade that something over. You might need a trusted 3rd party to handle it if it's a station trade since you can't run multiple accounts on 1 computer if one's a trial. You could jettison it into space, but then you risk someone else walking off with it. Or you could just sub the account. Alts are handy.

An even easier way would be to create a private Item Exchange contract to a specific individual (your alt/main.)

Trial accounts can still use direct trade in station to hand off items, but not liquid ISK, to subscribed (oor other trial) accounts.
Before anyone says you can't log a trial and a full account at the same time: copy your entire EVE folder somewhere, run one account from each copy. ---

That doesn't work. That only works if both accounts are subscribed. I know because I tried it. They specifically do not want you running a trial and full account on the same computer.
If you have additional computers sitting around, though...

Its a bit hazy from when I had my trial but If I recall correct trial accounts' chars can buy stuff direct off market without any skills etc.
Sssssoo... find a station where there is no sell order for some cheap junk like e.g. tritanium.... 'call X' thereafter - buy 1 of 'X' from somewhere with full account - haul to that station that has none for sale (with same full char) - put the 1 of 'X' up for sale (with same full char) for some ridiculously high amount equal to amount you want to get back form trial char - relog with trial guy & buy that order, trash or sell back the X if you like
Of course you will get the ISK minus the broker/tax off the full account seller so at worst 2% less in neutral standings.
skrooge tip: undock in pod, redock, get the 'free' 1 x trit from SCC along with that rookie ship... no need to buy it in first place.
I'm not sure if CCP approves of this "money laundering" My problem on trial was no excess money, i had some items.. jetissoned them next to some planet noone cared about and picked them up again with the other guy. A bit risky if what you have illiquid is valuable or cant fit into a jet-can (other containers require some skilling, not sure if can on trial)

If you created this trial account using the buddy program, you could just activate a plex for the account. This will grant the 30 days plex time to both the trial and the original account that sent the buddy invite, and you can trade money/items on multiple screens much easier.

So you started a trial and sent both money and books to it? For what reason now? Just for the hell of it or to actually play it? This doesn't make any sense unless you're botting. No offense but seriously, why? Get eve-mon or eft. Both of these easily cover any sort of future planning you'll need. --- DIE |

Dunno why people try to make it so hard. I just do a character search in the contacts area for my main and then donate the isk from my trial. It does work and I've done it several times. "Oloth Elamshin Mrigg Dos" |

If that worked, wouldn't people just create hundreds of trial accounts to donate starter isk to a real char?

at 5000 isk per char on a trial account wouldn't it just be easier to pop a single rat in a starter mission every 15 minutes?

Edited by: Toshiro GreyHawk on 05/02/2011 15:28:39 OK ... suppose that for whatever reason you can't log two guys in at the same time - you want to make an exchange, they can't use a corporate hangar and don't want to or can't use contracts. Maybe one or both are trials, maybe they are on the same account, maybe your computer will only run one copy of EVE at a time (I have an old system like that).
This isn't that hard - if you're at all worried about losing your stuff - the trick is to get both guys a bookmark to the same safe spot. Don't trade stuff the first time - trade a bookmark.
1) Create a safe spot with the donor guy, make a copy of the bookmark to the safe spot and put it in your hold then log out.
2) Fly the recipient guy to the Customs Office of a Planet in a Quiet System.
3) Log that guy out.
4) Fly the donor guy to the Customs Office of that Planet, jettison the copy of your safe spot bookmark - then log out.
5) Immediately log in with the recipient guy. You should show up at the Customs Office where you logged out and find a jet can with the bookmark to the safe spot waiting for you. Take that bookmark, drag and drop it into your people and places and you both now have a bookmark to the same safe spot. On the small chance that someone comes along ... all they get is the bookmark - and you can just do it over again with a different safe spot. The chances of someone coming along, finding that jet can, realizing what you are doing, making a copy of that book mark for themselves so they can wait at the safe spot in a cloaked ship - all before you can log in with the other guy - are incredibly slim.
6) Now that both of you have a bookmark to the same safe spot - fly the recipient there and log off just like before.
7) Fly the donor guy there and dump the stuff.
8) Log back in with the recipient and you'll be right at the jet can. Take the stuff and you're done ... unless there was more than the donor guy could handle in one run.
If there's a ship involved - the guy with the ship can eject and the other guy can be out there in his pod. If you've got multiple ships ... just do it multiple times. Once you've both got bookmarks to the same safe spot - it should be easy and relatively safe.
As a precaution - you could do DScans looking for Combat Scanner Probes ... and go find someplace else to do your swap or do it later, if any are out.
Now ... you'd probably be just fine just making a swap at the customs office but once you both have that safe spot bookmark - if for any reason you need to do this again - your all set.

There is another way to do it...I had to do this with a trial I was playing with before starting another trial and subbing it.
From the main account, put one item of little to no value on the market and set the price at whatever amount of money the trial account has. Sign in the trial account and buy it.
