Eve corporations have a distinct lack of any kind of payroll system. It needs to be independent of titles and roles.
A military corp might go for military style ranks and associated pay scales based on rank and tenure. But other organizations use payscales for similar things.
Let's say you have 5000 members and you pay a base salary of 1 million isk a month to your pvp security forces. First of all you would want a way to pay only them that salary. Then you might want to pay certain ones more for flying a certain ship, leading, or tenure. Maybe you have different payscales for your leadership pvpers than your line pilots.
Regardless, this feature is sorely lacking in EvE.

I like the idea, but implementation could be some what detrimental to a corp with little to no isk earning, or a corp that already has a replacement program, and or has lots of in actives, that wind up getting paid regardless.
So in short if your corp has the ability to to pay out 5 billion monthly, can I be a direktor, kthnks

Edited by: Marchocias on 22/01/2011 11:35:51 I'd prefer to see a system of "Employment Contracts" which work on a per person basis, with the following features:
Compensation A wage (completely customisable), to be paid Daily, Weekly or Monthly Configurable "bonus" system for pay-per-kill (anyone on the killmail, or logistically supporting) Configurable "bonus" system for volumes of ore/gas mined and deposited into corp hangars(anyone in fleet of the guy who deposits the ore may get a share)
Benefits An option to waive taxes for that employee
More taxation/charging options for all members Tax on trade: eg, corp takes x% of sale price of all goods, less x% of the purchase price of all goods Tax on facilities: eg, corp charges for use of
Associated roles Roles associated with the contract directly, with contract renegotiated as roles change

You wouldn't have to use it, or just make the salary for the lowest grade 0 if you do have to use it.
Quote: and or has lots of in actives, that wind up getting paid regardless.
That is a problem with a corporation's management, not the idea.

Not a bad thought, but mass managing those could get old quick lol.

If there was a way to use a player's API key to monitor their kill record... wait there is. But an automated version would be nice too. Sort of like a corp bounty system. I like those ideas in addition to the OP.

Technically yes, but real corporations don't give ownership of themselves to pay 'janitors'... why would corporations in EvE?

How do you demote someone then? Or stop paying them when they leave the corp? |

Not a bad idea.
I'd like more rank/title slots myself to to allow more diversity and control. |

I do find it a bit strange that they force this corporation system on us, you're born into them and can never leave (NPC corps are corps too ) yet no one gets paid. Most corps require you to go out and get your own money. |

You want the database to store the purchase price of every unit of trit?
what about manufactured/recycled goods that weren't purchased? (the ingredients were)
edit: you could forget about stacking things that were purchased at different prices. |

The database already does, ever hear of sales tax? Corp tax could be collected just the same.
