Is CCP aware that there's a small **** up with icones in game ?
80% of ships don't have an icone in my hangar. Alot of other icone are just black squares in space (gates in overview, selected items and such).
Send me 200m and I take off the coat. |

You're not the only one. It's been this way since the patch was released. Combined with the other problems, the game is unplayable. I'm starting to lose track, but I think it's been like 5 days of non play. |

I had this problem but only when I would get info on certain ships in space I'd get the black box. But today after having to reset my cache files to get the incursions to show up in the journal, all ships are now just black boxes.

Me too, black boxes and "!". I've had a petition open and after about 3 days they asked me to file a bug report (bottom of the EVE INSIDER section of the website).
I think that's probably something we should all do.

I've been known to mistake coincidence for causation occasionally; nevertheless, upgrading to Snow Leopard 10.6.3 fixed the missing icons problem for me.

I too have this problem - with about 80% of the ships and all the drones - the problem persists even after this morning's patch. Thus making it damn hard to tell ships apart quickly.

And seriously as a logi pilot in incursions i cant tell if i have the golem locked or not at a glance. THANKS.

Dito, same problem.
I just reactivated my account, having played for about two months before and then quit eve for personal reasons in october (nothing to do with eve). I tested this new patch with a demo account to see if I wanted to reactivate, and I have to say Good Going Eve Techs! Despite the minor glitches that I encounter I am impressed, my Frame-rate is nearly doubled since last patch, the graphic quality itself seems to have improved, and my macbook does not run as hot.
I just quit wow for the second time due to cataclysm glitches that they have not fixed yet, and I have to say that if you compare the developers of wow, and the developers of Eve, by final product Eve wins hands down. And I have major problems with FR in wow even if I turn graphic quality all the way down.
Yes there are some problems, but I have yet to see any that affect playability. Of course I am still a noob player in Eve and have yet to see the high level content.
PS, Yes wow and Eve are like Apples and Oranges. But Im talking about quality of game, not game genre.

yeah hate to beat a dead horse but same problem here as well.
the ships that do show up are hull-types that I had gotten recent kills with (seemingly in the month of january). Can anyone else confirm this?

Just confirming this is still happening after todays update. Not sure why I thought is would be fixed though? I guess we all need to hold some irrational beliefs. I'm sure CCP will acknowledge this right after they fix the jukebox bug.

Confirming this bug on my accounts as well.
Its getting really really annyoing. Everytime i log in i expect it to spread to the items  then i'd be really screwed.
Pvp is okayish, as name and the type column is enough for me. but pve is a total mess, BC or Cruiser idk ask the ! gods

We are aware of this issue, it is not Mac specific and seems to be happening on a specific graphics card series. Please file bug reports with hardware info to help us narrow this down.
Some reports are indicating that updating drivers fixes this issue.
