While our roots are that of an industry and production based corporation, today we are much more. We have grown tremendously since our humble beginnings back in early 2007. Our corporation is now involved in PvP operations, while still maintaining our manufacturing and ore harvesting backbone. With our support structure we are able to provide the necessary logistics to support a fighting force. More importantly, our main focus was and always will be forming a group of quality people aligned to the same goals.
Putting the corp before the individual makes us all stronger. If enough members share this attitude there is no limit in terms of our success.

As Valyron posted, HPL is growing and looking to grow more. This isn't just about numbers to us, HPL is looking to expand with quality people. Many of us have met in person and consider each other friends. HPL looks for more people that want to join our tight knit group. You can work together to complete goals to further yourself and the corp in this game. Leaders are needed as well as people who are just wanting to log in for some time with no pressure on them. There is a mix of military, families and the like, so pressure to be constantly on is not there. To HPL, family and real life come first.
With all that in mind HPL is a non-pirate group. Keeping neutrals and reds out of 0.0 space that you occupy is one thing which you have to do. It is against corp policy to go after noobs or gank innocent people for the sport/fun of it. The term "White Hats" is one that HPL wears proudly and has been able to up hold that.
There is a direction the corporation is headed, goals in place, and a CEO who has been in place for many years with many more to come. One of the things I hear most is how there is no direction, no goals or desires, and or recent changes in leadership. The only time our leadership changes is when HPL has to add new directors from within the ranks to help share some of the load.
With this place come new and old members, trying to expand through all the timezones and people who look out for one another. Whats the difference between getting suicided in Hi Sec and getting jumped in null sec? The amount of ISK you made before it happened and the amount of people around that'll PEW PEW the person trying to get you!

Capital pilots seem to love us. So for those of you who have a cap and want friends to fly with look no further.
For everyone else, we request that you have at least 15mil+ skill points to make your time in null enjoyable. Exceptions are made, but you'll be pretty lonely or dying a lot. So keep that in mind.
Recommendations
1.) 15mil+ Skill Points
2.) Cynosural Field Theory I
3.) Infomorph Psychology I
4.) Covert Ops I
5.) Cloaking IV
I just got done with our quarterly newsletter and can report to you that our average corp member is at 30 million skill points. We have a few newer players that brought that average down, so in reality it's much closer to 40-50m.
On a scale of 10 (being the highest) the average score for interest in PvP gang roams is 7.6, ratting 7.8, mining 5.2, so while we have industrial support the majority of our players (rock busters included) are loving PvP.
As a corporation we believe having quality people with a vision of a vast empire built on justice and freedom is vital to our success. To those of you that share this vision you will find your home with us.

Have I mentioned that our member count is at 61 members in HPL? We have a good spread of US/EU players and a few from AUS/NZ as well. Small corps are great, but I'm telling you with us there's always multiple people online. We actually talk to each other too.
