Tempest Fleet Issue:
517 DPS (580 with faction Ammo)
8,886 Volley
327 Sustained Defence (700 while using Shield Booster)
75km Accuracy Falloff, 51km Optimal
5 minutes for Cap. (Shouldn't be a problem because I am running triple c for rigs and I won't be using the shield booster nonstop.)
Just wanted to know if these stats were good enough to solo L4s and No I will not use a Typhoon because the DPS isn't that great and the Maelstrom is just too damn slow. |

I tried it with the standard Pest hull, and it sucked pretty badly. Can't imagine a Fleet issue would be much better.
Maelstrom may be slow, but you shouldn't need to move much at all anyways. I've found it to be vastly superior. |

If you've got the moolah to pay for CN invulns and faction cap boosters then I would strongly urge you spend 10 days or so training gallante BS 4 and buying a Machariel instead. Which will manage quite well with a T2 fit tyvm, and will still be so ridiculously better than either a 'pest or a mael that you'll never, ever want to use either of them for PvE again. |

I just want to run with this for the next month or so to finish getting T2 Artillery and yes to work on getting my Mach. These faction fits + the faction ship itself will be enough to buy my Mach. |

a maelstrom with AB would be much faster than that pest w/o.
judging from your numbers you are using mid range ammo wich is not necessary because with short range ammo you have enough range to hit everything in mission.
other than that like other said sell the faction stuff and buy a mach or a maelstrom |

I suppose it would work, but I'm not a huge fan of using cap boosters in PvE.
Still thinking the Maelstrom is the way to go here. |

I generally use my pvp fitted pest for low Sec annos and some ratting, after a few tests I have to say it works ok for L4 with the recent MWD changes.

I wouldn't worry too much about your damage. Focus on trying to get your resistances high enough so that the booster can compensate. Also, faction ammo isn't really neccesary... just makes things go quicker but ends up being really costly.

guys ... stop using artys missions! its a waste of DPS and time.
my tempest dishes out like 900DPS with 800mm autos and has a range of 50km (fusion l) with just a few rigs and tracking enhancers.
frigs are oneshots, cruisers like 2-5 shots and even BSes go down fast.
DPS is the best tank you can get as minmatar.
