I have been a carebear for the better part of my EvE career. I have made my living grinding asteroids in relative safety and being social with others. I have not disliked this, but I am ready to add more to my repertoire. The call to PvP has hit me as it does with most games I play, and I am looking for a home to learn and grow in this field. I have the infrastructure to support this new direction, enough isk and isk-making ability to keep me in the fray, and enough starting capital to be able to fit and buy anything that I can currently fly. I am flexible and able to adapt, as well as put in the time needed to truly excel. I like to know why, not just what.
I would love to find myself in a roleplaying corporation, but having one that is active is what is important. I am GMT+5 I believe, EST. I am looking to fill an active role in the corporation I join, and am looking forward to discussing this with those of you that think I would be a good fit within your organization.

Nice post, mining was how I started in the game (yeah my haters gonna gasp)
I swapped myself from a mining corp to a multipurpose corp I started with a few friends and we grew, we were rubbish at some things but over time we got good, some of us really good..
Where I am now apart from some really bad gammar is all about the pvp, not just the kills but good kills, I mean any idiot in eve can gank a ship but knowing how to turn a fight you should lose into a win is what we're all about in diddums, we like people with drive and commitment, we enjoy having fun over all else and we look out for each other, sure there are thousands of corps in eve you can join and if you want to be a number with limited skill but a good set of killboard stats I could easily recommend you a few hundred to join..
But..
If you actually want to go out and kick their asses then there are only 4-5 corps worth joining, I'd say ours is one, the others I doubt you'd get into yet but pound for pound we'd own alot in eve... and you can too..
