Edited by: Aarre on 24/01/2011 17:23:44 I recently come across a lot of people with white iris' and no pupils in their eyes? what happen to their clones? some one really messed up the gentics here. though i haven't asked anyone about this personaly, are they able to see? how is this posible? i have studied medical pratice so someone please expain how they are able to see if the optic nerve and disk is on the inside of the eye. However, they have no pupil to allow light inside for the nerve sensors to work correctly. Not that many people just walk around with keratitis these days either especially not THAT bad.

You don't need eyes when you're in a pod.
I suspect that this is why a disproportionate amount of blind people apply for pod pilot training.

There are certain ocular cybernetics that can be strange to look at on the outside. Generally people opt for some aesthetic upgrades with those. But some prefer to keep it practical, or purposely try to unnerve others with them.

Why should I bother with new eyes? My ship does my seeing for me. Ocular implants allow me vision beyond your normal spectrum while outside the pod. I could hide it, of course, but why should I? And if this is a recent discovery of yours, you haven't looked very hard before.

"What's wrong with our eyes?' What's wrong with your hair?
Ocular implants are ridiculously commonplace among capsuleers. That some, including myself, have a preference for a more 'mirrored' finish is an entirely personal choice. Tends to give one a leg up in group discussions, being able to see and not be seen, in some sense.
Nothing is wrong with our clones; they are grown like normal, with modifications done prior to transfer.

Synthetic and Unnatural iris colours is just the latest fashion fad to influence ocular implant technology.
