quickest way is to sor the in game map by sov holders and loog for 0.0 space thats not highlighted, there are other ways both in and out of game as well.

After playing the game for more than a year, I can hardly use the in-game map at all.  I was hoping for some kind of map or listing.

There is no such thing as unclaimed space. Only space people don't want to pay sov bills on.

There is a lot of unclaimed 0.0 pockets, however, claiming it will put a big bullseye on it. Basically if you don't have the PVP or political power to take sov from someone else, you won't have the power to defend it against people who see you're an easy target.

ZXJ-71 is still unclaimed, be sure to bring some friends though if you want to claim it.
If you prefer something in the north, P-UCRP seems like a nice system. Pretty sure you'll need some friends to claim that too though.

Old school pvp was fishing. The bait was pve oriented ships.
Now, people still fish, but the bait is unclaimed systems. Nothing is unclaimed without a reason.

Confirming that taking sov in Querious and/or Tenal is a very good idea and you should do it RIGHT NOW.
