We are looking into this issue right now.
unfortunatly this was something you should have looked into long before this went live.
this was not a new issue.
In fact you were suposedly looking into how to fix this way back when you "fixed" some of the fleet and wardec exploits way back.
Same ol same ol from you guys, declare something "FIXED" stamp it with the nice red stamp that sayes COMPLETED then say we will look into whatever issue that comes up as you walk away to do something else while you rubber stamp anything that comes in about this or any other problem with the "duplicate report" and "resolved" and "closed because we made the reply on our auto responded Email send any reply emails to a functionaly non existant recipent" stamp because its the fastest way to clear out your bufer of reports and complaints and show that yes they are doing there job because we are closing so many reports!!!! oh Joygasm!!!.
ok im getting a bit ****ed off at you slobs again.

ok first off, my original signature block used to say
If your too paranoid to play EvE online,
then your not paranoid enough to play EvE online.
I took it out a long time ago when it was obvious that you were literaly going out of your way to eliminate a lot of the paranoia from the game on a basic level. Heck even your most basic changes have made it obvious that you were working to SERIOUSLY reign in the base level of misstrust between players.
the small things like making it so that you bascialy have to set your settings on "Spacebook" to public to at least your cormpmates and Aliance, making it very easy for people to get a lot of informaton from API keys, the continuing nerfing of the Contracts so that its more and more imposible to scam with thoes, even the tweeks and changes to Fleets and Wardecks were made to make it easyer for people to play without looking over there own sholder to try to make sure there not being screwed all the time.
I could go on but I think you get my point
Quote: The fact that we haven't had the time to put it in doesn't mean we didn't know about it.
Im officialy calling Bull**** on this.
you have been doing this for how long now with CCP Soundwave?
yet somehow every expansion for a long time now this line gets trotted out.
somehow you never ever have the time to put in all the crap you intend to put in. somehow that deadline comes up and you have to decide to either shove it back weeks or more or shove out some not even remotly finished pile of crap that leaves you scrambleing to fix all the problems you created for Both yourself AND US.
Or worse you end up pushing it back AND Dealing with the broken ass pile of crap that is whatever it is you put out.
May I ask you a serious Question
when you go out to see a movie, do you expect to see a finished movie, or do you expect to find the projection booth filled sound editors and film editors and an orchistra still trying to put the film together while the director is still sending in the Dailys? because honestly that seems to be how you think a game should be made and enjoyed by the rest of us!

in all fairness to Soundwave, its not just CCP who is bad about this, I mean honestly one of the biggest Vidio game companies has had to release 5 diferent patches for one game they have on Xbox.
I mean seriously they developed the game first on Xbox FOR the Xbox and over a year after they release the game they spent patching the game and it still has serious glitches that break the questline so that you have to go back 2-3 or more hours worth of saves to get your game to work.
that said. I pay them to play a game to have fun.
Not to listen to them spam us with Dev blogs and posts explaining that they ran out of time.
Ive been here for years, and I will probably be here for years playing, honest to god I would love to find out that they have changed their buisness practice to "we will release it when its done" not "we will delive it on time no mater how big a steaming pile of crap it is at the time.

Irony is when someone from Goons complains about CCP making it too easy to screw people over in this game. . .

Originally by: Mara Rinn When I go to a movie, I expect to see a finished piece of art, which plays from beginning to end in a linear fashion. If I go to see that movie again, I expect no more and no less than to see exactly the same piece of linear entertainment.
When I play an MMO, the last thing I want to see is a linear story that plays exactly the same way every time.
Engaging computer games are a little bit more involved than a simple movie.
This I happen to agree with.
unfortunatly for us to actualy have the non linear gameplay, we need a working game
It would be nice if they would at least realise that first they need to actualy deliver the "working as we intened" part of the game first. it would cut down on the whole issue of "is the part that sucks doing so because were playing it in ways that the developers did not intend or resonably forsaw, or is it a case of them shoving half tested content out the door because there too focused on deadlines for whatever reason."

I approve of this isk sink and economy stimulus.
I have to agree, great for my miner, and even better for my main. Was in a 120 man fleet tonight, all pick ups. won alot, and lost alot. The high sec only pilots are learning a thing or two about Learoy Jenkins.
for thoes who dont get the reference.

And thus the push by the CSM to get CCP to focus on excellence of delivered product, not excellence of workflow :)
For now I would be happy to see Excellence of workflow from them, it would be an improvment.
that said I would love for them to go to a "we will ship it when its finished" instead of "we will ship it when its due reguarless of how big a steaming pile of incomplete and untested crap it is"
----
the big problem right now is the groups who go in with everyone reping everyone else, one person deliberatly shoots a neut, system goes into fleetlag mode as concord starts showing up in mass to personaly whip out each and every ship in said fleet in mass.
Currently CCP aparently considers this acceptable behavior
Im bringing my old sig back now
.end of line.

If you think your too paranoid to play EvE...
Then you clearly are not paranoid enough to play EvE |
