Ok I just recently came back onto eve and Im flying a Sentry drone boat dominix..quick question..
On my wardens when they're in bay it says their optimum is 98.34km but when out it says only 50?
does the range cap or what causes this variance? |

The drones were just a lot braver warping into the site, inside the massive domi. Once they were thrown out and had to stand in the line of fire, their ranges indeed do shrink.
I will not be voting in the CSM election, so you need to go vote to make up for me. |

Because the client only includes bonuses and skills on entities that are fitted to your ship or in the drone bay.
After launching drones neither of these are true. |

It's due to your skills affecting the drones. While they're in your bay, they're under the influence of your skills and the domi's bonuses.
However when they're launched into space, i guess it's not reading the bonuses.
Hopefully the bonuses are still in place, and if not, it's a bug.
Can they still hit to 90+km at least? |

theyre optimal is 50km with a 25km fall off..so about 75km roughly |

Yeah that is the bug, I kind of remembered it, but it was with the damage of drones, and I never looked at the range, during that bug time.

Tell CCP, they can probably fix it in the 2018 expansion.

I'm pretty sure they have the same range as they did in your hanger, its just not shown because of factors already mentioned. If not, petition it
