Just for a laugh, get your alts out and come for some high speed thrills around various systems in different categories. Pay a small entry fee and get a prize based on the number of competitors. The ciruits will be small and races expected to last a few minutes - all within same sector.
As well as pod racing we are thinking about n00b frigate racing and Shuttle Racing.

Hey if youre really bored you can try n00b ship dog fights. Me and Gauss did it the other day outside the station in Gusandall where I can proudly claim my ibis (kitted out in 135mmdual scout and 200mm autocannon, small neutron and Gyro 1) went on to smash Gauss' Ibis to pieces. Helps relieve the boredom :)

This is quite odd, cause on other boards people complain everytime someone opens a new thread which is corresponding to an old thread.
Often used sentence: "Use the search-function"
Now someone actually finds an old thread and want to revive the idea, again, and immidiately everyone flames him.
But I concur with the thread, could be fun to try again.

I could imagine doing this in empire with a group of like 10 pods and using a smart bomb to start the race.
