I was wandering if it is possible to create specialist build skills, limited skills giving only by the higest skilled agents. 35 (Amarrian, Caldari, Gallente, Minimtar, Interceptors, Assult Ships, Assult Cruisers, Battleships, Cruisers, Destroyers, Battlecruisers, Logistics, covert ops, Frigates and Industrials) Skills such as:
Engine Specialisation: The manufacturer of a limited race (eg caldari ships only) and limited ship types (eg frigates) can increase speed output by 5% per skill level.
EG Person X creates a Condor, with this skill at lv 1 there ship base speed is the default +5%
Person Y creates a Tempest with this skill at lv 5 there ship bases speed is default +25%
Tracker Specialisation: The manufacturer of a limited race (eg gallente ships only) and limited ship types (eg covert ops ships) have increased sensor strength in both range (strength) and type (eg LARDAR or RADAR)
Then things like Item building specialisation, such as:
Sensor production û sensors produced by thing person are 2% more effective or require 5% less building materials for production
Weapon Production û weapons produced by this person have a 2% larger Damage modifier base increase or 5% less building materials
Frigate construction (already in-game but only asked for in tech 2 production) Produces of this races frigate require 5% less minerals
Cruiser construction û same as above but with cruisers
Battleship contructionà..
Let me know your ideas and whacha think

if only we could get an extra skill to improve the numbers of factories that can be run by one person - 6 is a really low number.... ---------------------------------------- Buying Co-processor II bpo |

something similar was done back,... oh way back during the beta days of Eve. in which you researched out a BP and it improved the performance of it. was even mentioned that you could research it out to next tech lvl. and the idea was that when you bought modules built from this BP, it would have a signature of either the researcher or builder but Dev's decided to drop this feature, and now is as you see it today.

This would be a good idea the better the skill of the maker the better the product. So you will get signed objects things created by -=xxx=- is worth nearly as much as the same item in the best named version....
A really cool thing and the big and best producers will be a very much desired by corps.

It certainly was spoken about a lot however ...

ok to sume it out:
+ of this idea
builder profession will be in high regards (all corps will want to get some producers in they ranks to get better stuff cheaply)
good modules at nice prices (big competition)
supplying of corp mates with top stuff (advantage in combat)
your name is famouse, you have full hand of profitable work
- of this idea
new producers cant compete, their stuff is not bought (better stuff at not much bigger price... what you will buy?)
biger corps have another advantages against smallers (could supply lots of minerals to producers, could have lots of advanced producers, could dictate prices)
much lesser income on hunters and agent runners (price drop on named modules)
you will get so many spam on your eve-mail box that you will hang yourself eventualy (everyone and they dog would like to buy stuff from you, and most of this will be: "sell me this cheap" beggars)
there are more but this in my opinion are most important
