I have a coworker who would like to try out Eve, but doesn't want to spend $20 on a game he may or may not like.
I have tried sending him an invite through the Eve Buddy program multiple times, but it appears to be offline as he is not recieving the invites.
MMORPG.com is no longer offering the free trial. Fileplanet is no longer offering the free trial.
Is there anyone that can provide me info as to what site may be offering a free trial currently, or where i can get him a CD key to unlock a trial version?
Also, if someone from CCP wouldn't mind, can you arrange something?
Thanks

Edited by: MaiLina KaTar on 25/01/2005 13:57:37 On the right hand side of this page there should be a blue pic saying "free trial". Just click on that and fill out the form.
Your friend will then receive an E-Mail with a trial CD-Key he can use when creating an account.

Aye. I've tried that twice with the buddy program, didn't work. I will look at the other sites though, thanks.

It worked for me during the last days. I made trial accounts for 5 people this way.
You gotta watch out not to include any whitespaces in the E-Mail form. It can happen when you copy the address from somewhere and in that case it won't work.
As said though it worked perfectly fine for me during the last 4 days.

If you live in the UK, go into GAME and buy one for ú9.99, or even ú4.99 if the sale is still going.
30 day trial :) easy as cheese.

He might have a spam filter or something which is blocking the "Here is your trial account for Eve" mails from reaching him. Get him to chack any bulk email folders he has.

Getting a Free Trial is easy. All you have to do is break the law and the state usually takes you to trial. If you use a public defender, you won't have to pay a dime.
Hope that helps! |
