wtf ccp.
Its a great idea to have new PVE content, but why do players get punished for not participating and wanting to go about thier normal pvp or other pve activites after growing bored of the invasions.
Why have system bounty, damage and resist reductions. You couldn't figure out a way to have this only applied to the people at incursion sites? Or only to people argoing sansha ships? So smart you are..
All your doing is ****ing off/annoying many players over days that no longer want to participate or never cared about the invasions in the first place.
Ok lets ignore everything but this one fact, the invasions are taking place over excessive periods of times. I can't even do missions or straight pvp for days on end, why the hell would you assume players would want to do invasion sights over longer periods? I guess it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't put in the rtarded system effects.
Congratulations on adding yet another feature that benefits few and annoys the majority. Your soo smart.

Edited by: Sarfux on 27/01/2011 22:42:13 Yah cause everyone has industry and hauler ships to move everything out at instant notice.
Take a clue ccp, don't do to eve, what nge did to swg. If these incursions stay, and probably they will cause ccp doesn't listen to the players, then we will all have a "fun" time of having negative bonuses next to the no xp for killing so I can add to my long training times whenever the hell I want. Not to say all the glitches, the very very weird music that does NOT go with the game and the "fun and balanced" pvp! Why can't there just be a game that will have walking in your ship and doing whatever you want and assembling a team and having your skills train while you are logged out on top of xp for killing to progress your character and ship? Oh I know which game, the one that will stomp everything.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Introducing xp for killing everything you want AND a skill based system set up and designed to train while you are logged out AND 18 planets all the size of World of Warcraft AND space based environments with trading hubs! Hmmmmm....

They're making the incursions the only thing worth doing by making everything else in the constellation next to worthless to do while the incursion is active. Instead of making the incentive to do incursions above and beyond what else is available, they're nerfing the incentives to do anything else but the incursion. They're trying to force players to do the content without actually forcing them to. Not very sandboxy.
I like EVE because you honestly could do anything you wanted, you weren't forced into a predetermined path of gameplay like other MMO's; you weren't forced to do content you didn't want to do. I guess CCP wants to change that model. Given the high rate of ship loss, ninjas, and low payouts, the best thing to do seems to be log out, spin ships, or move out of the constellation.
They need to restrict the bounty, resist, damage nerfs, and rat spawns to only the sansha "rooms", and increase the payouts to maintain this sandbox idea they've had going, imo. I really don't agree with trying to pidgeon-hole players into doing content.

Oh please, with rewards like that, incursion is still the only thing not worth doing. 50% bounty, bohoo... still earns far more than incursion rat's 0% bounty. Resists penalty, bohoo... it still hurts more getting shot by sansha than mission rats.

Seriously!?!? Do whatever you want?! Really? People play eve cause it's least worst space based mmo out there. Do what you want? What else is there besides, mining, ratting, or missions? The unbalanced pvp? Or not being able to have strictly pve zones where if a person doesn't want to do pvp ever or get ganked they don't have to? What's "whatever you want"...

Incursions weren't designed for those not part of large PVP alliances. CCP should move them all to sov-holding systems and be done with the charade and let high-sec get back to the job of annoying the heck out of the leet players.

Agreed, Sansha should invade Russia. Shut down those bot farms.

Stop moaning for God's sake.Incursion is good and well balanced feature. They gave lots of thought to it and it's good it's got this "feel" effect on everyone. Grab your guns and deal with it rather than moan. You can always brute it with a fleet of 80 in 1 hour - just to get rid of it and you will still get 50 mil and 12k LP on the final stage.
And to Star Wars post - ROFL, man even from the look of it its WOW in stars. There is no comparison between these two games as they are totally different and go around different things if you cant see it you might as well go and play Barbie.

Wouldn't it be awesome, that if people do not win the sansha incursion fleet /sites in certain amount of time system would slowly lose it's sec status detoriating slowly to low-sec 0.4 or even 0.1?
After one system has detoriated to low-sec, the expansion would expand to surrounding systems? And low-sec to 0.0.. and 0.0 just expand more rapidly...

Sure, but only if the 0.0 Incursions cause Sovereignty to be ceded to Sansha's Nation if the alliances (continue to) ignore them.

I know i know - dont feed the troll, but:
1) ~5 / 2000 systems are "infected", 2 of those in hisec, what all your business is in those 2 systems or passing thru it so you just cant right click on a dot in map and select "avoid this system"
2) If you are looking for sandbox - starter systems will NEVER be "infected" that im 101% sure - move your home there, mine veld and STFU. You can even petition devs if someone suicide ganks you there and you will be fully reimbursed and ganker (prolly) banned for few days to let him know not to screw with newbies.
I.

There are some similarities, except that:
*In 40 man WOW raids there was a reward for killing bosses *WOW players in raids usually mash 5 buttons, some even 6, EVE players (F)1, guess that makes EVE spaceship pilots that much more hardcore and 1337, instantly disgusted with just a mentioning of WOW

ur right, i missed the different buttons ........ but in wow mostly 1 or 2 get a reward for killing a boss, the others are just allowed to congratulate those who get something
