Have you ever heard of paperclip trades?
This form of trade got his name from a guy that traded his way through to a house, starting only with a red paperclip. It took him one year but he got a house afterall.
I liked his idea and started some "prototype" trades, something affordable in value, like a Hawk. I found my self to go for a Nighthawk later on, then a Phantasm. During this period i stumbled upon a lot of kind of people: scammers, curious individuals, generous traders and experienced several years old characters.
But the 3rd Challenge is different:
I WILL TRY TO TRADE ME THROUGH TO A CHIMERA!
The trade cycle is starting with a symbolic 1 unit of tritanium and ends with a goal item. Absolutely NO ISK involved in the cycle.
Some people say it is a new form of scam, a waste of time or just an idotic idea, others like it and sometimes i got followers to. Some people even mail me to know the progress i have made. I think of it as a challenge what i can achieve with the help of the community. And I chose the Chimera because of it represent a really big value and prestiege, not because I can't fly it or "If you get that chimera you will sell it on the market" and NO I WONT SELL IT.
Anyway if you would like to help me you can find me in Jita, if you don't
want to then don't it's simple. The descision is yours.
So PaperClip Challenge number 3's Chain:
1 trit--> 3 isogen-->1000 Devastator Cruise missiles--> Trasher --> Caracal --> Proteus defensive subsystem (yes a subsystem!)--> Raven--->

I'm stuck with the raven for awhile but time is on my side so no problem. And the whole idea is not about getting a free chimera, just to spice up the community a little. I'm even thinking to give away the Chimera if i get there. Maybe for a symbolic 1 trit. And donate it to the trillion tritanium project :D. But that is far away.

Its got nothing to do with begging...
Buy 1 piece of trit for x amount, sell it on for a small profit. Use your new income to buy something of higher value then sell it on for profit.
I think its clever and if you can achieve your goal of a Chimera I will be very impressed. In affect, u will have paid 2isk (or how ever much that initial trit cost you) for the Chimera.

Besically he wants someone to give him 3 Isogen for his 1 Trit, then someone to give him 1000 missiles for those 3 Isogen and so fort all the way up to the Chim.
Basically it is begging, but done with a tad creativity.

Actually I traded the trit for 3 isogen and so on. I have a Raven currently.
The Chain represents the Project's history.
