Yeah. I think they should let whoever got by without having one keep the options. It's not like you can see nipples or anything. A bra/bikini is safe enough to show on network primetime TV as well.
I don't see the need to force people to muck with their avatars and frankly if CCP let it get past the test server without any problems, they should let people keep making their chars without tops.

Must say I tried to touch up on my characters picture, but then it tried to force me to put on a shirt. So I quit and went back to the old me. Its a nice look I like it so no I wont put on a shirt. And why is CCP forcing us to do this?

Devs probably want Incarna to look more "up scale" and not so "trashy". Why not start here.
It would be nice to see some dress codes enforced in Incarna when it comes out.
For example, in some hi-sec systems, you can't enter the commons unless you are dressed in expensive enough clothes, and vice versa, in some low-sec and pirate controlled areas you can't enter common if you are too fancy dressed.
Imagine having to wear a 100 mil isk bussiness suit to enter the commons on Jita IV-4.

Imagine using PI get the raw materials to manufacture your suit. Then imagine skilling up the Business Presence skill (charisma/will based) to meet the prerequisites for wearing the suit.

I think its funny that the ESRB rating for this game is more mature than what CCP is pushing right now..."online interactions not rated by ESRB"...theft, piracy, drug use and selling, slavery, war, a harsh...violent universe, but no clevage.

I am so dreading this. They're going to have to charge obscene amounts of ISK for clothes because of the amount of ISK out there. We're going to be left with as you said 100 million ISK clothes while one can pick up a high-tech, tall as a medium skysc****r heavily armed frigate for 300k. Makes no sense.

Yeah that's what I would want to do if I was an immortal billionaire, unbound by normal societal contraints and who deals death to thousands on a regular basis. Dress up like my grandmother because some peons, I wouldn't even waste a bullet on, might frown upon my clothing choice. Glad to see CCP is working tirelessly to make sure that dream can finally become a reality.

The last I checked you pay to play a great internet spaceship game, not one where you get to force everyone to look at you in a bra. Running around in public (basically) in a bra because of a loophole in the character creator doesn't make it a right of playing the game.
