If by choppy you mean what I think you mean, then that's your avatar in chat not server rendered yet. Takes a day or two for that to happen.

Whats happening at the moment, is that your character in its smallest icon is unsmoothed. Everyone else will see the pic as smoothed out though.
For example, on my mains screen his own pic is jaggy while my alt is smooth. On my alts screen its the other way round.
You pic only appears jaggy to yourself.

Same here, I sympathize.
I get a horrible case of the jaggies in chat thumbnails, and I'm quite certain my pupils aren't being rendered...

Same here since patch on january 27. I made a petition and my portrait was flagged for re-rendering. Didn't help though..

I have the same problem. I thought that my portrait has to be rendered again or something, but yesterday a buddy told me, that my portrait looks perfectly fine on his client. I also have this problem since the thursday patch.

I just remade mine (3rd time) and mine too is unsmoothed. Looks fine from other account though. It's also a bit brighter than it should be from the other viewpoint.

Yeah don't worry about it. It seems to happen to everyone I have talked to. For some reason the game doesn't apply a smoothing filter to your picture but everyone elses. To everyone else yours looks fine.

should we petition it? or maybe a dev/gm/forum troll will read this and look at the logs that show nothing.
