Take a break if you need to, I think almost all of the old players have periods when they don't play much (if at all).
Have you done 0.0 warfare, science and industry stuff like PI, inveention, and manufacturing? Wormholes and incursions? Maybe something a little more creative, like corp scamming or your own personal goal? If none of that is interesting you, you should probably take a break.

Uunsub and go away for a year like I did and play several console adventure and RPG games. You'll find it's refreshing to fire up the Xbox 360 and get right into having some fun. Then, after about a year and there's a new EVE expansion coming out (and they offer you some free days and a discounted re-sub offer), come back and see what you've missed: hours of dull logistics; hours of looking for good fights; hours of earning ingame currency -- all so that 90% of your devoted time can then go towards the 10% of EVE which is actually enjoyable.
But that's just how I see it. (And I'm not even singling out EVE; I'm getting the impression all MMOs are this way.)

Go play wow for a couple of hours then realise what an absolute joke it it and come back and be more grateful.
