Holly Hoover	Posted - 2011.01.31 12:21:00 - [1] So I'm sitting in a station and all of a sudden a player starts spamming me with trade windows. I mean non-stop like dozens and dozens of empty trade windows. I am afraid that it will freeze up my computer and cause it to crash. I close them all but it takes a long time clicking close on each one. Then this player does it all over again and again. Has this ever happened to you? "Yes I pvp fight with the market view open!"

In these days of easy picture manipulation, a picture isn't a proof of anything. You take them, so the guy answering the petition can easily understand what the problem is and start to investigate ze logz.

I Love Boobies	Posted - 2011.01.31 12:46:00 - [7] File a petition under harassment. Worst that can happen is tell you it's within game mechanics, though I think they will consider it griefing if they continue to do it because something like that does put unnecessary load onto the servers.

No, it is not within the game mechanics to spam the trade window when one will suffice. The same way one can spam dong shaped ascii in local because game mechanics allow it but be warned for it.

It's as illegal as convoing people you agress in space (gangs all starting a convo with someone entering system so he gets disrupted and can't warp away). Mass-convos, amss-trades, any massive action like this is bannable.
