I heard you could convert concord LP, is there a specific exchange rate? Does it differ for certain corps? How would I go about changing my concord LP into an empire's corp's LP? Thanks.

There's a convert button at the top right corner of each LP store, click on and it follow the prompts. I would assume the rate is 1:1 but that's just a guess, somebody who actually profited from an incursion can chime in on that.

You assume wrong - it was in the dev blog info and can be seen by going to a faction LP store with concord LP (not sure if u don't have any) - there is a button in the top right. Rate is 0.8 LP for 1 concord LP

I redeemed my 12.5k concord lp to sisters and only received 0.4 which i thought was very pathetic.

My first guess without looking at any references is that it would be based on standings. From the Defector's post, I surmise that there is a base value, and that is then factored by your standings in some way.
Check your standings with the faction in question and try running some numbers. Perhaps final conversion factor / faction standing = base conversion factor.

Something like this seems like a good and logical way to implement a conversion system. This way you have no risk of the new LP becoming a universal LP, that makes gaining standings and LP with other factions totally unnecessary. You still allow conversion to allow people to gain access to more goods, but getting easy profits is impossible and harder, compared to native LP, even with factions you have good standings with.

So if you farm Concord LP in highsec, you can convert them for example into Guristas LP and go pick up something Dread Guristas **** from Venal in T3 shopping cart?

I can't help but feel that CONCORD LP will be worth more than other types given that it's harder to farm.

What's your standings with Sisters? not 4.x by any chance?
My bet is that standings of 10 will get you a 1:1 exchange. That way it would support your existing LP sources rather than letting (for example) a Minmatar FW character suddenly gain a lot of LP from an Amarrian corp.
Anyone able to confirm this theory?

Just checked it. Even with 10.0 SoE corp standing you will get same 0.4 exchange rate.
