Short question.
Does an interdiction nullifier only allow you to warp out of bubbles, or does it ignore bubbles completely?
In other words: Can sling/pull bubbles still work on a nullified ship?
If I warp to a bubbled gate, do I land at 0, or 20km off? |

It makes your ship ignore bubbles completely. For all intents and purposes, it's like they're not there.
In the past, there has been a bug where a bubble going up while you're sitting in it will cancel your warp (which only really forced you to click "warp" again) ù don't know if that has been fixed yet or not. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

I used to scan and run plexes inside heavily bubbled production systems in my former alliance space.
People had four of five tech 2 large bubbles at both sides of the gate, and a few more on approach. The most paranoid bunch of industrialists I EVER saw, and that was way before the spai-hotdropper-friendly-alt epidemic the North faces today.
Needless to say, it was these annoying bubbles that made me never undock without that subsystem, and it completely ignores all forms of area of effect warp interdiction, be they deployable bubbles, interdiction probes from small dictors or the sphere created by a hic.
I think it is commonly agreed that a cov-ops fitted t3 with the interdiction nullifier is the SAFEST way to travel gate to gate, system to system, in all of EVE.
I would also like someone to boast about how they actually caught one such ship at a gate or at an undock( as in while actually travelling and not goofing around), so that we may see first hand their potential weaknesses. Personally I have never been caught while using one of these, and the most I faced in terms of gate/station camps was a swarm of stilletos and dramiels. But maybe they just weren't trying?

Their only 'weakness' is if they can't go into warp before they're bumped and pointed in regular style fashion. The chance of this happening is negated somewhat by cov-ops cloaks but you have to be on your toes to be able to decloak someone in time with those if they're fit to travel (i.e. get into warp quickly). It's doable, just not easily.
At and undock point, if they've a decent insta-undock then you won't stand a chance at all unless there are serious lag issues. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That has been patched. I can't find the patch notes at the moment, but I know I saw it.

Yeah pretty much. It is possible to catch cloak/nullified t3s but it is a pretty slime hope. Of course you send your ceptors after them, because you pretty much got to, but you very seldom make the stop. Mostly, even if you got the decloak, its not fast enough to stop them. You basically have to hit them dead on and bump them off alignment, and that much more luck than skill.
Of course, nullified cloaky t3s are rather less combat effective than you might hope. Their abilities as super scouts is unparalleled, but thats about all you can do with them. Hence, balance :D

You'll find a lot of lolmails with cov-ops fitted t3s (lokis mostly), attempting to prey on ratters. And a lot of times they prey successfully.

We run a few traps for afk cloakers, T3 or otherwise.. usually in the form of one hugely tanked BS out ratting, in a fleet with a number of others, and their fleet mates in system already, maybe in cloaky ships of their own sitting right behind the bait.
Bait scrams the cloaker, webs them, fleetmates uncloak, add to points, kill it. Beer.

It depends on what you mean by combat effective. I have a cloaky nullified Loki that I use often....with 60km webs/38km point, 3.5s align time and a command module with mindlink (with a full rack of ACs for anti-frigate/inty defense). The cloak/null combo works perfectly for a support role. Whether this is as a command ship, a tackler, or a mix of both as I have above.

I use a true sansha web, and i have the electronics subsystem at L5, and i get 37km web, or 48 if i overheat

Think that's where the mix-up is.

Booster alt with skirmish warfare subsystem with interdiction manoeuvres and implant.
62km with a fed navy web overheated.
Huginn can get 100km webs with that.

It's pretty obvious for everyone that a ship intended for combat will definetly blow up sooner or later, especially when it's out hunting.
As it stands though, it is my firm belief that nothing short of jumping a few systems via titan/jb is safer then a t3 cruiser fit for travel.
I ALWAYS carry my expensive deadspace loot in one.
With an alt.
And a scout.
On a separate account.
Using a different computer on a different IP.
The alt is not even mine, it's the account of a distant relative. Lovely singing voice.

Indeed, though I don't have an alt providing the bonuses... I have the mindlink/warfare sub/skirmish mod myself.
