We are currently investigating connectivity issues some players are experiencing with Tranquility.

Edited by: Sinister Dextor on 02/02/2011 21:06:40 It's not specific to Eve, there is something drastically wrong with routing in the UK. My ISP is investigating,, and many others are reporting the same.
'Major routing blip on the internet.. 2011-02-02 20:35:17, by drsox
Edit: Just noticed that the pages stalling problem seems to have gone away. However random bits of the internet are still entirely failing : )
Makes me wonder if this is the "total breakdown" part of an intermittent fault that has been showing itself over the last few days.
Not specific to BE but something horrible is going on with routing around the internet. '
More info when we have it!
BE to TunnelBroker fine but TunnelBroker to AAISP IPv6 IRC died. TunnelBroker to Hetzner fine! BE to RapidSwitch died. BE to AOL (lol) fine. [shoutcast stream continued] BE to Hetzner fine. BE to Sherweb died. Hetzner to RapidSwitch died. RapidSwitch to C4L died. RapidSwitch to NDO/Namesco died. VM to TunnelBroker died.
[20:38:08] (azc) Problem affected Virginmedia customers, too. [20:41:32] (jwh) 250gig drop in traffic [on linx]

Edited by: Filodar on 02/02/2011 21:06:44 Is a UK wide issue, this is traffic flowing through LINX (The London Internet Exchange) which accounts for most of the UK traffic.
https://stats.linx.net/cgi-pub/exchange?log=combined.bits&png=daily
It shows global reachability issues as the traffic from about 10mins ago is not what it should be! Therefore its not Eves fault :)

There are various issues being seen on the LINX Brocade network, affecting many providers. But I suspect CCP already know this. |

This is not a problem with Tranquility itself, it's most likely something going wrong with the UK's internet backbone routers again. I'm getting disconnected from everything tonight, as is everyone I know in the UK. We're getting disconnected from EVE, WoW, websites, ventrilo etc. Definitely not just restricted to EVE. EDIT: Since the EVE server's in London, I'd expect there to be connectivity issues between EVE and lots of people.

I gave up trying to play last night and just went back to my normal development stuff. Single client, two clients, three clients: lots of disconnects. Western US, nothing wrong with my high-speed internet connectivity (24Mb).

Shame they don't cover my area or I'd have switched ages ago

Please let me know if you are still getting disconnected from Tranquility. It appears to have leveled off and the Internets are playing nicely again.

I'm getting ctd'd more than Jita gets spam. Lag spikes that freeze game play like I'm in a fleet clusterfruck. I watched my whole right screen light up last night with massive simultaneous logoffs like crazy.
Problem is External? Does that sugar coat your marketing image by saying that?
