out of respect and a sign of solidarity to the libertarians in Egypt and out of sheer goodwill towards men, ccp, and space aliens...
Jittageddon is being postponed until the people of the mid-east get their internet back on and are given a voice to speak.
thanks, and my apologies if this interferes with your plans, the event will still be held. But we, the hosts of Jittageddon Feb, 2011. ask please to bring more attention to this issue that people cease and desist any and all violence in Jita untill the people of Egypt and surrounding and affected areas have access to be heard.
This has absolutely nothing to do with my motivations in EvE or anything to do with it, I would dimply ask, as a show of respect we also protest this outrage to the world population. In the for-front of my mind is the simple notion that is is insane to try imprison minds by not allowing people to communicate and it will and has always ended in an enormous debacle when people/govts. attempt to do so.
in summary, Jittageddon will go on, but as a sign of solidarity with freedom fighters through the world, lets hold our peace until the mid-east gets the internet / communication fixed..
thanks, and my apologies again, Fines may be assesed in the form of bounties paid (through my own private bounty system, I can verify) on players continuing to join in on high sec ganking in Jita. wardecs are excluded from this, but..
please act with me on this, world peace is at stake here.

but here's what happened, Egypt will be given internet freedom's before we engage in an actual assault on jita as th high moral captain on these grounds...

While I'm not taking sides in a conflict between a Fascist Dictatorship vs. Fundamentalist religious radicals, I do support your call to hold off on Jitageddon.
This may be a video game but calling attention to a situation where people are being killed and where, no matter who wins more are likely to die will help keep it in the minds of those of us who are fortunate enough not to be living in such an unstable place.
I donĘt see a winning side here, I only see more pain and suffering.
