I recently started getting myself involved in industry and some trading so I have been scouring the boards and sites looking for various tools and information I can use. First a good trade can be quick cash, second, if I am going to build something I need to know not only if it is profitable, which is easy to figure out, but if it is in demand. I have been having a harder time, as I have found a couple of helpful tools, but so many links are dead links, or the tools are completely out of date.
eve-tools.org seemed to have some decent tools on it, but it looks like it hasn't been updated in some time. Does anyone know if the programmer is still around, and is the data on the site still good?
Does anyone have any recommendations for market research tools, so much out there is out of date?
Also, is it possible to view all the available contracts offline like you can do with regular goods on eve-central, or are you stuck looking in-game using the available filters?
Any help or direction is appreciated.

I would also be curious if anyone has any info on this site.
More specifically, there is a "trade hub calculator" (http://eve-tools.org/tradeHubs.html) . Does anyone know how accurate that info is? |

nope. Contracts aren't part of the API.
Haven't touched eve-tools in forever ... the ISK Per Hour app seems alright (haven't played around with it too much yet though). And there's always EMMA ... |

I have been playing around with Isk Per Hour, and I like it for the most part, though there are some options that I don't exactly understand, but I figure that is mainly as I am an industry newb, I am slowly learning.
EMMA is one I have yet to try, I started looking into it the other day, but then I had actual work to do, I plan to give it another go this weekend. Also, I can't remember the name, Prism maybe, but the industry plug-in for EVE HQ is decent too. |

Actually, contracts are exposed by the api these days. The next version of Emma will support that of course :) |
