Ok, so today I had a debate with a few other chaps in the Fricoure local. We were debating whether or not the Thanatos "Skill Bonus" is multiplied by the Level of the skill. We were refering to the "Fighter Drone".
For those of you who don't know the Thanatos's Skill Bonus, here it is.
Gallente Carrier Skill Bonuses: 50% bonus to Capital Shield and Armor transfer range per level 5% bonus to deployed FightersĘ damage per level 99% reduction in CPU need for Warfare Link modules Can fit Tactical Logistics Reconfiguration modules Can deploy 1 additional Fighter or Drone per level 200% bonus to Fighter control range
Is the 200% based off of skill, or is it a ONE time deal. Also, is the 200% multipled by how far your current control is or the base skills you have (Without Drone Link's to increase range)?
If none of this above is correct, can we get a freaking fix? Half the ship bonuses are confusing as hell to figure out...

Just understand, "You don't have to be near a ship to assign fighters to it." And leave it at that.

I was referring more towards PvE. It just sucks that CCP can't fix small bugs and inconsistencies with the game. It's an information part about the ship, it being incorrect makes it harder to properly fly one. But that's just my opinion.

It is based off skill of your normal scout drone range. So if your standard drone control range is 45 km, then the 200% will let you use fighters out to 90km.
Not sure about drone link augementors, will do some testing tonight to see what they do for things, but i am guessing they are limited to lights, mediums, heavies and sentry drones, not fighters

200% of your base drone range for fighters (140ish KM on my carrier without any drone mods) this only goes for fighters, all other drones are restricted to normal ranges ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pinky: Gee, Brain. What are we going to do tonight?
