His weapons and tactics are well thought through and I for one have studied them because no-one likes to lose ships. Eve is not a fair game and some players are very good at working the system. I have never known Loren to shy from a 1v1. You need to remember that no one should obligingly give away a ship in a 1v1.

Depending on the number of fights, the details of the ship classes, and the terms of victory (e.g. he warped off from my no point drake I win haha) I might even be willing to bet that schalac might win one of the battles. (not the majority though). No disrespect to Loren, but it's just a matter of correctly guessing what Loren will bring and bringing a counter, and doing it just once :) So - can we get details of these matchups? If there's say 10 fights, I might look to bet that schalac will win at least one if anyone will bet against me :D

Tekitha Gallente Shadows Of The Federation	Posted - 2011.02.18 05:03:00 - [105] I don't doubt for a second that u will win at least 1 round, because realistically an arranged 1v1 isn't any kind of demonstration of actual pvp skill .... theres alot more to being a good pvper than being lucky in happening upon a fit that beats the other guys fit in 1 given situation. scouting, situational awareness, taking on a blob solo, FCing, target calling, following orders, formulating tactics at a fleet level, probing, manual piloting, effective use of ewar / logistics ... to name but a few, are pilot skills that demonstrate good pvp ability. simply hitting orbit / activate modules and hoping ur fit is better than the other guy in a controlled situation means nothing tbh. that said, I'd still put my money on loren winning a majority of the fights. Don't believe the hype!

Well that depends on what information you are feeding me. One of my good RL friends is an [AGONY] director. I listen to him all the time and I also listen to fleet comms and even the random noob that I gank just for the hell of it. Sure I could remove my CEO alt and scan out frog WTs in their own space and hide out in empire space a few jumps away ready to jump in with a ship designed to kill them based on their resists and be right up there as top killer, just like Loren. I prefer it to be more unexpected though. BTW you guys let me and many others run FW missions way too much. It's funny though that even when I bait with a mission runner in the the Cal highsec areas you guys attack often, I never see an incursion to my missions or when haplessly war from gate to gate or station to station. For some reason you think your the almighty divine one that he needs to prove something to. If your hoping to make a name for yourself think again, you could beat him in every fight (but you wont) and you will only be remembered for making a complete tool of yourself for calling him out (which you will). One thing i will put money on is that loren will still offer you a gf in local even after all this

I was for a 1v1, he suggested the round robin and I just x-ed out the ships I can't fly on this character. If he wants me to bring in my alts to fight him I could probably cover every ship and class up to BS, never trained capitol yet. Hell he even suggested the region we will be fighting in because we would both be protected from certain outside elements. I don't know where you guys get your info from but honestly it's shaping up to be a very expensive day for Loren and a very fun day for me. That's how confident I am in wins. Might even be a fraps of the fights. I just need to figure out how to record it to an external memory source because my PC is close to max as it is. SCHALAC HAS SPOKEN
