Hi, I've just run all the caldari cosmos mission, circle missions, and data-center missions and along with a nice boost to my caldari standings i got some amaar standings.
I am now doing the Amarr Cosmos missions, but none of these are giving me any Caldari standings.
Have i mis-understodd something about how derived standings work? I thought that caldari ave some derived amarr standings and vise-vera?

If your standing is over at one point (I think it's at 7.0) you'll not get any derived standings at all.

There's also 15 Tutorial Agents and 15 Career Agents that give Faction standing increase.
The Faction Standing Repair Plan has all Event Agents listed along with guide links.

ahh, crap, i didn;t know this.. i'm at 7.91 with caldari, had i know i would have run the amarr first.
I have done every possible caldari agent including the career agents, etc.
I was hoping to get them close to 9 with cosmos :(

Unless it changed from years ago derived standings are capped at the factions standings towards each other. So Amarr are liked by Caldari to 7, so you can get derived Caldari to 7 by raising Amarr standings. Caldari are liked by Amarr to 5 so you can only get Amarr to 5 by raising Caldari standings, etc.

I wish that were mentioned in some of the cosmos guides :(
So all the standing increse upto amarr 5.0 i got no standing increase? Had i got amarr to 5.0 first then gone to done amarr missions to get caldari upto 7.0, i would have ended up with better overall standings :/

Just confirming this is correct. However you can still continue to raise your standings, just derived standings won't help you that much.
