And can we get some content where those interested could work on trying to repair the damn thing as it would be nice to try to get back to the Milky Way Galaxy eventually.

Put it this way: During the Empyrean Age expansion Jamyl Sarum, the supposedly dead heir to the Amarrian throne, got her hands on a Terran jump drive... she modified it, fit it on an Abaddon, and wiped out a Minmitar Elder fleet composed of several carriers, supercarriers, and a titan in one volley. Later, said Abaddon was 'abandoned' with some Rogue drones. The drones then began to harvest an unstable isotope and store it in the Abaddon and in their hive. Still at least the affect of it damaging your ship as you approach it with significantly random amounts of various damage types would be fun to toy with. This along with the possibility of being able to find a way through it to... somewhere.

That's assuming that they haven't wiped themselves out in the mean time. Remember: the Eve gate was an overflow valve for an already in trouble galaxy. War was inevitable given the strain it was under. Perhaps the Eve gate was not ever closed - but the solar system on the other side simply doesn't exist anymore. This would equal out to be roughly 19 THOUSAND years to fly to the eve gate from the main star in the system, assuming that the gate is 3 light years away from the star in New Eden. On a side note, if you could warp to it, in a cov ops ship it would take just under four hours (in warp) to reach it xD. ------------------------------------------------- Don't debate with morons.
