Greetings ladies and gentlemen of the verse, My name is Tom Gerard high-sec slacker extraordinaire. I would like to inform you that there is a secret order of those willing to bleed for this game, and I am but one of their number.
Ok lets look at the math, every 5 days you can give blood, $7 every 15 days you can give plasma $15, so in the course of a month you can average:
5 Blood Sales: $35 2 Plasma Sales $30
= $65 Total
The Price of FIOS internet in Florida is $64.99 coincidence? I think not. Anyway, this slightly lightheaded space traveler has returned to the realms of New Eden!

Technically you're bleeding for internet, not EVE. Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you. |

Funny, in Canada we give away our blodd for free, because you know, it helps saves lives.
But that's America for you.
Hey, you should stop by the sperm bank too, pay for a few accounts while you're at it. Speaking of which, I'm sure there are a lot of "mature" ladies down there who have outlived their husbands that could use some "companionship". |

lol canadians, giving away valuable assets for free. stop prolonging natural selection, but at the very least, charge for the right to defy nature...otherwise you are doing nothing but hindering the world by allowing more and more people to depend on someone else. we need to help people less, to start weeding out the scum |

Blood for FiOS, eh? Are you trying to get FiOS blacklisted? First blood diamonds, then blood minerals in cell phones, then blood electronics, and now we have to add Blood FiOS to the list?
Now I understand why the average US citizen is so ignorant about the rest of the world. If we don't know it's happening, then we don't have to feel guilty about paying lower prices.
You can tell me what is and isn't Truth when you pry the tinfoil from my cold, lifeless head.

If you can get your internet for the price of the blood, think about how much you could get for one of your kidneys on the black market.
Sell your kidney now and enjoy EvE and internet for life.
Especially as with a black market surgery you probably won't last long afterwards. Any Spelling, gramatical and literary errors made by me are included free of charge.

How silly.
Canadian Blood Donation programs work off advertisement and government directed programs. That could will while existing in most people doesn't just pop into the average persons head, that costs money to get it there.
A system of monetary compensation is just another type of incentive to donate. The question is do they meet the quota they are looking for within acceptable costs. What is more it rewards people and not people who make commercials. Millions of Americans donate their time for charity yet you pick one area to demonize there country for the crime of a different system. Go tell one of the people volunteering in a homeless shelter down there how much better you are because they use a different system to incentives blood gathering.

Think a little before waving the flag.
Except that either way it requires advertisement.
There is an incentive in both case (altruism / money) and advertisement in both cases so ...
flag waving may continue.
