As a researcher i would like to see ingame how many total RP's are in for each research field just to see the odds of being awarded with a tech 2 BPO.
This feature was once ingame and i don't understand why it has been removed.
Please if this lottery is all we reseachers have at least keep it clean and viewable. Like when are bpo's awarded how many and such.
I don't want to know who was awarded, i just want to know something about my job.
Now i'm completly out in the dark as are others like me.

When they hold state/national lotteries, they at least tell people when the draw is and how many tickets were sold.

What ? You want people to be able to make rational, informed choices of which field to research based on the probability of getting a bpo and the value of such a bpo ? What a ridiculous concept.
I like it as it is now. Most people whine that they have 100k rps (in starship engineering), whilst others get multiple bpos from the same agent (who, me ?  )

I dont really know what you are asking but I suspect it is something to help people who actually want to reseach stuff and have invested time and skills into it.
You should realise that CCP only care about subscription fee's so for them it makes sense to just leave you in the dark and all game content to simply be a dice roll which you are lead to beleive is some what determined by who can crash out the most mind numbingly boring agent missions day in day out.
Id like to see you research types actually have a hand in your own fate so SIGNED.
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.
