It says "Incompatible (Release)" on the Server Status Bar, and I tried downloading the latest patch but to no avail. You help me! Angels of Death EVE Corporation is Recruiting New and Old Pilots!!! |

Are you sure that your client is trying to connect to Singularity and not to TQ? Please check these instructions on how to configure the Mac client: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Mac_Bug_Reporting#Configuring_the_Singularity_client_to_connect_to_the_correct_server

Another mac user with "incompatible (Release) issue appearing tonight. I could access Singularity before DT just fine - (version 224393) Now getting the incompatible msg. I understand from fellow pc users that there was a 20mb autopatch today bringing up Singularity to version 228068. No autopatch showing up on my mac and unless I am being very dumb here, can't see that patch on the Eve Patches list. That list still shows 224393 as current version.
I am reluctant to use the eve Mac Repair tool as I have wasted hours and hours trying to use that in the past with no joy and a lot of frustration. Soo.. Anyone got a link for today's patch pls? or suggest how I can get an autopatch working?
thanks.

Same with me, Although if the autopatch failed i feel like more people would be complaining/figuring it out. It worked fine yesterday so I do not believe the settings to be the problem. Angels of Death EVE Corporation is Recruiting New and Old Pilots!!! |

LOL for CCP's response to this issue - suggesting we can't follow instructions with correct link to singularity. Did it not occur to you this incompatibility error might just have something to do with the patch on the same day and a missing/broken autopatch scenario occuring?? Seriously.
You are able to provide Windows users with a backup manual patch link - but the mac page remained pitifully unhelpful without even the mention of a patch being available.
Ok, so auto patch failed and Mac users yet again kept one step behind PC users in the useful info and links for downloads. I didn't actually intend to come back here and rant about this (altho I am sure you can see my irritation considering they clearly have the link to add to their download, provided exactly that for pc users and just not bothered to update the mac page) My reason for posting is that there is a solution for those keen to get back onto the test server until CCP either fix the autopatch or provide us with an accurate patch download page:
Solution: http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php
Thank you chruker website. Yet again you have got the answer way before eve online actually puts it's own website in order. Can't believe I didn't check it soone. The link above will provide you with a download link. Tested and works like a charm.
Bad CCP - shame on you for lack of links! No cookies for you today.

Hey! I'm sorry for my unhelpful reply yesterday evening. Thanks for correcting me - I looked into this and found that we are indeed lacking to distribute the information about new Mac patches. This is being taken care of.
