Hi I just got my frigate level to 3 and purchased a Punisher what should I equip it with. I looked through the ship setup sticky and there isn't a guide. To help out its got:
4 Hi-slots 2 Med-slots 4 Low-slots
I'm mainly looking to use that ship as my mission/fighter ship, I have an Inquisitor for mining until I can get a barge - could you recommend a set-up for an Inquisitor ship to be used for trade and mining please.

NPC Punisher: 3 medium pulse, 1 small nosferatu MWD, Cap recharger Heat sink, small repairor, energized adaptive nano, cap relay
Cap recharger and Heatsink can be swapped out as needed

Amarr's frigs are kinda their weakness. The suggested setup is about as good as it gets, but you will need to get and stay close and kill quickly, if you have to run your armor repper for any period of time you should not stay in the fight...You should be able to any lvl 1 missions and most lvl 2's as long as your carful.
I suggest as soon as you can get into a Maller (cruiser 3 and see Duramaller) That is where the Amarr ships start to shine. -The mind is strong and the flesh is weak, but oh the flesh... |

High: 3x Medium Afocal Pulse Lasers (Ultraviolet S) 1x Empty (or, if you have the skills and the best medium pulse turrets, a Small nos but im unsure if its possible at all to fit) Mid: 2x Cap Rechargers Low: T2 Small Armor Repairer, 2x Armor Hardeners, Cap Power Relay
Fit appropiate hardeners for the rats your facing but this setup also requires high skills, Electronics 4, Engineering 4, Weapon upgrades 2, Amarr frigate lvl 4 and cap skills at lvl 4/5 to run everything permanently or damn close to it, or at least long enough to kill anything in lvl 2 missions. I can run the hardeners and repairer for about 4-5 minutes before cap dies without weapons firing (1.68 cap per 3.3 secs per 3 weapons) and i have energy systems op lvl 3 and energy management 2.
Will be testing properly tomorrow when i can fit everything (0.65 CPU short atm, training electronics 4)

I think I used to hunt with:
2x Medium Pulse Dual Light Pulse Laser Afterburner Webby Small Armour Repairer Cap Power Relay Heatsink Energized Adaptive Nano
If you have enough grid/cpu left over, fit a nosferatu. Fight at about 8-10km.

Why nos? What does nos do to npc's? Dont they have "fake" cap(dont recharge)?

punisher 3 medium guns small armor repair 3 heat sinks (best you can fit) 2 cap rechargers
it's crazy, a frig that can tank and shoot good. Plus with 1 medium modulated and 2 medium afocals, 2 extrudeds 1 skadi, and I can't remember what the cap rechargers were I could run all guns and armor repair forever, with Multis.

They have infinite cap meaning you can Nos them so you have more energy...
